After looking at the other microspace systems, and deeming them all too complex to remember (and too long to bother to read) I decided to make a simple system, following the original Brikwars rules as much as possible. In fact there are only three rule changes in my system.
1. Pivoting
Ships with a Size of 2 or more can pivot 45 degrees per turn. Smaller ships can pivot freely.
2. Weapons
Weapons on micro ships are small. Guns that are facing the same direction can be counted as a single gun whose Size is the combined Size of its components. Ships carrying fighters or boarding shuttles counts them as a melee weapon.
3. Armor
The Structure Level of a ship must be smaller than its Size. For comparison, a ship with SL 0 is lightly constructed and has no shields (example: X-Wing) while a ship with SL 5 is very sturdily built and heavily shielded (example: Death Star).

Oh, Christ. This makes the fourth or fifth microspace module floating around out there.
(and may I point out that my module is most intensive during the construction of the fleet. The gameplay flows fairly well, at least in my experience).

Jebus, you people are getting out of control with all of these BrikSpace rules. I personally think these are a little too dumbed down, but the concept itself isn't bad at all.

Well the reason I made these rules was to give an alternative to the other three or four systems, who are all rather complex.

As I said... mine is only complex during fleet creation.

Sure, but don't underestimate the psychological impact of a huge mass of text.

Aha.
Now I understand.
I need to create a shortened version, sort of like the QuickWars section of the 2005 BrikWars rulebook.

For this version, try and keep as much of brikwars as you can. TBD Brikspace was the most realistic, Olothontor's had too many rules for customizing, and Ecabob's - well I found his unnecessary but at least he put effort in.

Yeah, mine are rather incomplete and uses a bunch of olothontor's stuff in it, but I think it's worked pretty well in my forum battle so far.

I am in the process of revamping. If you have a problem with it, please post it in there, I'd be happy to hear your opinion(s).
