The front page is almost un-needed at this point, because everyone who cares will find out their news from the forums (most of it even originates from here).

I also personally think we need an "Archive area" where we can stick those topics we NEVER post in anymore. I would be willing to move the dead topics one day.
@ Pilotgg: I can name several of my friends whom arnt on the forum but visit the site still. To much effort to force them to go through the forums.

the news section definitely needs updating becuase people who find the website by random, will see the lack of news and think "DEAD WEBSITE".

this is true generally if there is no activity within 5 months or so persons will believe the site dead

Random news about random shit that people have done would stop the "dead website" look.
Maybe somebody could put up a monthly post of all the forums battles that had happend during the month, this would both advatise the idea of a forum war for people who don't have enought and also show that the website isn't dead.
