I need more excuses to use the new emoticons.

They're really cool, but I'm having trouble finding situations in which to use them. I'd suggest an increase in the overall number of traps, mysteries, and dead Bothans on the forums. I've also had much difficulty in fitting the fonz dog into my posts.

Also: the lack of news is irksome, lots of people talk about it, but not much is done. Rayhawk, if you're reading, I don't care what you do, make something up if you have to.

I'll even put in some news:

NEWS BULLETIN!
September 13th, 2009- Lieutenant Obvious demands excuses, not answers!

Resident Brikwars player, LtObvious, is (awesome, but that's not the point) desperate to use the new BrikWars forum emoticons. He has been trying his hardest to fit them into his posts, but an excuse to use one is a rare commodity. When asked about the current situation, he had this to say: "I believe it's horrible that there are so few opportunities to use smileys, but I've got to go save kittens from trees and rescue orphans from burning buildings."
This has been channel 1337 news, tune back in tomorrow for more no bullshit journalism. Stay classy, San Diego.

Emoticons do not exist to base a post around. Posts exist to use emoticons as oddly specifically as possible.

Act first, then think, then try to find a way to cover up the horrible mess you made.

That, my friend, is the purpose of this thread. People need to make more stupid topics, that way people like myself can fit :dog: and other such emoticons into posts more often.

I appreciate your wanting to take advantage of the emoticons, but please be cautious with them. I don't want to have to see more posts like this:

501stCadians wrote::wtc: is it. :trap: :mystery: :mbd: for me to say this.

And I don't mean to pick on you, Cadians, as you're not the only one to have done this, but your post was the first one that came to mind.

I think if you use too many emoticons in a post (read: all of them), the forum code decides to not give a fuck.
