But what happens when pes gets lazy and looses track of all the forum battles? At least this way we can remind him of all the battles and remind him to update things every 20 battles or so.

I feel semi-sorry for pes, as everyone just expects him to do everything for everyone, as if being the trianular pope of a small internet fake oppressive religion based on triangles and complex geometry isn't enough of a challenge/boredom he has to do all this crap.

I'd like to suggest a new rule: "No forum battle signups can be posted without the turn 0 overview."

Admittedly, I've broken this rule myself. However, it seems to me that nowadays there are a lot of battles which are introduced, then get forgotten because the player "never got around to" building the field and armies, or wrestling with his overly complex camera to get good pics. Showing the turn 0 overview, and thereby proving that you've already done these things, shows potential players you're serious enough about going through with the battle, and also eliminates annoying time-lags between signup and actual play.

Yes...All host must put pictures of the battlefield before the game itself starts.

now as much as that rule is important, i got pissed off when i spent 2 hours making the battlefeild and another hour loading/posting the pics, and then barely anyone signed up.

each side has 5 troops standing on a 32x32 baseplate, they are standing 3 studs away from the sides and are randomly placed along the edge, player one gets first go.
all of player 1's troops move forward 4" and fire on player 2's troop (roll dice) player 1 kills all of player 2's troops.
heck yer, but more complex battle fields would take a long time.

I am sure by now this question is off topic (this is assuming that the posted topic is no longer the main topic.) I did not read the twelve pages of post so if it is off topic then well FUDGE it. Anyway um peg..whatever you name is what happens if some lets say someone brakes one of these rules?
