I've got a few pirate sets. Sometimes I wish I could go back, and buy all the awesome Pirate sets and Space sets that were out when I was a kid and had no money.

even though all my armies take a futuristic theme, the pirate sets were some of the best buys i made.

like the ship hulls? sure, it's SUPPOSED to be wood. but why not just say it's brown steel, and then place some gray bits, an engine, and some big-assed guns on the main deck? 's what i did.

speaking of guns, the ship masts make EXCELLENT cannons.

speaking of masts, sails that came with them are perfect for use as canvas roofs of rogue communities etc.
