Battle of Death

Post by Natalya » Mon Nov 23, 2009 2:04 pm

This was a 2-part battle I played with my friend. He had donated his Lego to me long ago, so he didn't have any of his own. So I let him play as the Czechs and Space Pirates. I was the Assyrians as usual.

I didn't do complete coverage of this like I normally do for forum battles, but it's pretty good I think.

Image

Turn one for me really only saw my guys advance. I shot some of his guys who were camping on top of the moonbase elevator.

Image

The Czechs advanced and attacked full-force.

Image

With some suicidal intentions I might add...

Image

Kamikaze Drive-By!!

Image

Image

The damn mecha blew a bunch of my guys to bits, as it has done in every other battle where it's been featured.

Image

My guys weren't too happy with the car, but they suck at shooting.

Image

They got the car down to one structure point left... Just one!! But they couldn't kill it.

Image

My mecha fired a rocket at one of their other cars, but it missed.

Image

However, it managed to kill the driver with its main gun.

Image

My friend's turn... He swerved and tried to run over my guys. Most jumped out of the way but one got run over. Dead.

Image

They then started shooting and killed two more of my guys.

Image

Nearby the flamethrower guy had snuck around the rocks...

Image

My sniper got torched. D:

Image

More people dead from a rocket attack.

Image

This guy shoots sideways like a gangster.

Image

My turn again... I was pissed with the rocket attacks to say the least.

Image

Finally my guys stop sucking and kill the car.

Image

At this point it looked like an Assyrian victory was immanent.

Image

The robot in the car whose driver got killed fires back at my guys before he drives off the map.

Image

And my soldiers clean up whoever was left.

Image

The game ends with an Assyrian victory, though most of my guys were killed.

We had a rematch the next day but I have even fewer pictures from it. However, we never finished, though I think he won because I was left with fewer soldiers.

According to the pictures your account of winning is not very plausible. Looks like a ather awesome battle tho...

Awesome. However, I see you've gone back to the green death cars - what happened to the ghetto ones? Or have you got both.

Nice, good to see the Assyrian/Czech war flaring up again. What started the conflict?

Pie, presumably.

Although, food could be a cause. The Czechs have very few planets to provide food for a whole fleet.

I still got the ghetto ones. The red robot who drove off the map... He was in a jeep.

As for winning, it was narrow. The second battle I lost but that's not on here.

Let's just say it involved McDonald's.

Am I the only person reading that someone GAVE AWAY their legos.

This is blasphemy.

Nice battle however.

question: what was the composition of both forces? this looks like a good battle size

In the second battle I fielded 30 Assyrian Soldiers with Major Smith as their commander. Also on the field was my Pallas Space Skiff with 4 2nd-Type Assassin Droids, 6 Assyrian Commandos, and 4 Star Commandos who boarded the Czech shuttle and took it down. On the ground I had 6 more Commandos, the Assyrian Lightfoot, and the Mars Heavy Battle Tank. In the skies was the Juno Starfighter.

The Czechs fielded 3 MiG-II's, a Shuttle, 10 Super Commandos, 2 Death Cars (one was a Jeep), a contingent of 10 Space Ninjas and 8 Space Pirates, a Lightfoot Mecha, 3 Wookies, 5 Aliens, a Death Robot, and an Avatar. Their heavy troops (Wookies, Aliens, Avatar, Robot...) managed to survive many of my attacks even though the Heavy Laser Rifles my guys carry are overpowered. This ultimately led to the Czechs winning the battle because they were able to soften up my left flank so much.
