I'm assuming he's from a different country, where their M rated games are rated 18+.

Ihat it can, thank you for callingg it by it's real name.
speaking of which the first two elder scrolls (the ones with the creepy graphics style) are free now.

as for a game I can reccomend, try the final fantasy games. (thanks to the godlike emulaters any of them up to 10 can be played for free on a computer).

sounds like it, although The UK is not a country.

Why the hell did you even make this thread? Go play Morrowind.
Also, don't even bother with Oblivion. Bethesda basically took a shit all over their franchise when they made that game (they even messed up the lore that THEY created).

I will admit, Oblivion was my first Elder Scrolls game, and I played the shit out of it, but once I sank a few hours in to Morrowind, I realized what I'd been missing out on. I can honestly say that except for the graphics, which can be modded to be quite decent, Morrowind is superior to Oblivion in every aspect.

Really?

I found it quite boring really, I had the GOTY version with both expansions by the way. I don't play it because it is random walking around, though it can be quite fun sometimes.

My character is a level 2 something who happens to be wanted for theft and umpteeble-homicide. Nobody can stand in my way but some invisible archer guy who won't go away after i murder some random woman.

18 is a BBFC rating, the British Board of Film Classification. Although not legally binding, many 'parents' seem to think children of a lower age than 18 cannot play 18+ games. I myself find it rather amusing, this system, especially when that teenager from Norfolk tried to convince his dad to buy a 12+ game to no success.

My recommendations: Borderlands (15+ in Australia, Australian games should work, I'm pretty sure both countries use the same system (PEGI) for Ps3s), Assassins Creed 2, Fable 2.

Fable 2, however, requires a gift from the Gods, in this case Microsoft's Xbox.

I'm looking into Assassin's Creed 2, not interested in borderlands and I would prefer to stick to a console that actually works...

So you don't want PS3?

I said I'm pretty sure console games from Australia will run in UK.

There's your problem, give it some more time.

I don't like single player games, so free-roaming games aside from MMORPGs are not for me.

But I sure do like this game called Reality. It's pretty nice; the graphics are amazing.

Its meant to be like that.

The PS3 is better and thats why it costs more. The only reason people buy XBox's are because they are skimp.

I pointed it out. He ripped my arm off.
Plus: Xbox costs more in the long run, and nobody CARES!
