SS Uniform Sketch

This is a sketch I made a few days ago, its crap I know. However considering I was/am a strictly Stickfigre kind of artist its good for me.
I am not a fan of The Third Reich or Nozi's . I just like the uniforms, or to me more specific the SS (black) uniforms.

It's okay. The eyes seem a bit close together, the nose is a bit small, and the eyepatch either needs to be bigger or rework the shape of it so it looks like it's formed around the eye a bit more to justify it being small. Also, work on the skull on the cap a bit more and try to make it a bit more 3D. You did a good job with the hat, but the uniform is way too flat-looking.

If you thought it was crap you wouldn't have put it up. You obviously want people to say how amazing you are.

If I wanted people to say it was all good and great then i'd have finished i, clearly that is not what I did. I instead I put it up here for suggestions on how to improve.

Whenever anyone says "I know it sucks" or anything like that, all they want is for people to tell them it's good. It's like what girls do around their girlfriends.

You did great on the hat. Just work on some of the little details a bit more like the rope and the angles.

Anyway, J+B, you could try shading. The clothes look unreal. Like clothes being held up under the figures chin. Lines that are closest to the viewer should be darker (and so more clear) as they get nearer and lighter/finer as the line recedes. Shading and Light makes things look better, but it can be tricky, just give it a try.

None of these are mine. I haven't sketched since I was 20.



Get your eyes off the nude and look at the shading and light, especially around the face and cheeks and more obviously on the hat.



Folds and creases on the clothes are obvious and the lighting works very well here.

You get the idea. Why Piltogg's?.. wait, forget it, dumb question.

Haveing an audio guide have you turn around to see a disection table makes it seem more than "kinda" gross.
