OI! We need this Bloomin' Crap!

The fourm needs one of these:

-=Ignore the 40k shit=-

We need a built in fourm gallery, so we don't have to go off and put them up elsewhere. What's more, people can easily go through the gallery if they are searching for someone/something.

I think I like the idea as well, but online image storage space can be pricey.

I think if anyone is going to support this idea, Rayhawk should put up a donate button somewhere and we should all send him money.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind, anyway.

Yeah. This would REALLY be excellent if it happened, but yeah, it could be pricey. I think I'll stick to Brikshelf and Flickr.

There's really no need for it at all.

1. It's very rare that Flickr or something is down.
2. It takes just as much time to link to another picture as it would be to link to it on here.
3. Even if we did have one, it would end up being crowded with so many pictures (forum battles, anyone?)

Well, obviously we would need to limit what PRECISELY gets put up in the gallery. Or perhaps, we could use it as a Hall of Fame and post noteworthy MOCs only, and have either Ray himself or one of Ray's forum helpers be in charge of selection.

But beyond that, you have good points to bring to the table.

I am still, however, in favor of this idea, if doable at all.

If done well it could be a good drawing point for new victims, I mean members.

Concurred.

Although I don't see why campaigning for new members would be good. We've generally always just kinda... been here. Those who find us, find us. Those who don't, oh well!

I don't see any reason to be different now.

But I agree that if done well, it could be a good hook for new people, yes.

Nah, online storage was pricey a year or two ago, but the market has changed and now it's practically free. The difficult part is just figuring out the bast way to set something like that up, and finding time to do it.

It'd probably be easier just to set up a gallery on an existing site like flickr or mocpages or something.

That's a good idea. A gallery that only people invited to the group can post MoCs on, and they can only be Brikwars related?

Also, when did I become "Ray?"

All hail the mighty Stubby!

Meanwhile, I disagree with the idea of a gallery hosted on this very site. And :godwin: that :mbd: so I could say :diy: 'cuz :trap: .
