How long dose the confimation email with the code take to get to your email after they send the email saying "Thanks for signing up for our beta testing. Your registration has been successfully saved. Good luck! "?

Technically I got the email last night at 10:34pm but I had my email thingy off.

Unlikely.
One of my friends has been on the leader board for sometime and hasn't got a beta invite yet, it could just be takeing time for them to sort everything out, and to make server space for all the people.

The only way to get an invite is to be signed up for the email newsletter.

Haha! you can't get me to tell! I agreed to an agreement to not tell anybody anything. Especially on a public forum. And besides that I havent found an option to do that yet, but I wasn't looking for it either.

D'oh!

Well I didn't see where I couldn't say I was in closed beta.
It was a very short agreement to not distribute information gained (paraphrasing two paragraphs).
Hopefully that doesn't include the information in the agreed to agreement.
