space marine vs halo spartan

ok i saw this on another site and they where all 40k fans so NO ONE knew anything about spartans i how ever have a space marine army and am a halo fan so this is my op.

i think a spartan would win vs 1 space marine MAYBE 10 now let me explain

i know space marines have cerimite armor thats like 7 inches thick but spartan armor is about the same toughness with out shield, they have super hardend titanium plates with a crystall gell layer that can hold back the halo energy sword(for a while) plus the shielding


as for weapons i think space marines whoop the spartans assault rifle vs assault rifle, the SM bolter fires .75 caliber round that exploads, the ma5c
fires 7.62x51mm hi-dens titanium full metal jacket rounds. so not really that close. but the bolter can go right through space marine armor and the spartans sniper rifle fires 14.5x114mm fin stabled rounds that I think in one or two shots could get through SM armor or they could use the spartan laser....and then just jack the SM bolter

so tell me who you think would win, oh and you can't just base your OP frome the halo games you have to do fluff marine vs fluff spartan

if you all start saying "oh well in the halo games an smg can kill a spartan!!1" ill use the game FIRE WORRIER (the game where one f-ing tau takes down 6 space marines)

depends what armaments. if only the standard Br and bolter, a space marine will easily take out a spartan. If the spartan gets his hands on plasma grenades and an energy sword, then he will be able to take out the SPMR. or if he has some other crazy shit weapon. but, the spartan would only ever beat a spacemarine if he had good weapons. in hand to hand combat a SPMR would win hands down any day.

Spartans suck because there isn't a lot of them. They don't have death cruisers either. Also, 1v1, a spartan would lose IMO because like the marines are like huge and have genetically modified bone structure and stuff so they're like super-humans.

From having played Dawn of War, I would actually guess that mano-a-mano a spartan would probably win against a standard space marine. A Terminator would ruin even Master Chief's day, though.
