Two: If it bothers you to much you can download graphics sets to ditch the ASCII.

I have a problem with DF2010.

One of my dwarves was affected by fey mood. He demands logs, rough gems, and body parts.

I've slaughtered a donkey foal, collected two types of rough gems (adventsomething and something agate), and felled a hella lotta trees. He is still sitting in his carpenter's shop, and has been for half a season.

did you get the right body parts? and are you sure that is all he is demanding? did he already collect something? if so check what comes after the stuff he already collected. dwarves will collect their stuff in the order that they demand it. and sometimes they want more than one of the objects.
and sometimes they glitch a bit.
(which caused one of my dwarves to go nuts and collect my ENTIRE supply of metal bars. I now have an artefact with a description of several pages.)

Achtung, I am having great difficulty finding a copy of this for mac - apparently there is one, but I can't seem to find the newest version . . . and the 12bay website doesn't seem to load.

On an unrelated note, though I would really really like to, I will have no time to play the succession game, being the lazy-assed procrastinator that I am. As such, skip me. My only request is that you name one of the dwarves on teh lava sub Ross- AND TAKE PICTURES WHEN YOU LAUNCH IT.

I got my copy off of the magma wiki while the bay12 site was down.

It would seem our current ruler has disapeared off the face of the earth. I say we vote as to whether or not we skip him and head to the next ruler.

Sure I vote in favor of skipping. Or even better: whoever of Olothontor and IVhorseman gets here first gets to be the next ruler.

I say we vote on a guideline: you have a month befor we auto maticly skip you. even if this dosn't get instated, my votes on both options. majority of the people signed up wins.

I'll do it, but are we using new dorffort or old dorffort? I uninstalled the old one to make room for the new one and haven't installed it yet, so as of this typing I have neither program on my computer.

The save is from the old version, so it's incompatible with the new one.

It would seem this has died. we should of set up like a time limit, like 2 weeks or somthing. It's been like a month since the last fortress update.

Rody is new honorary ruler. If I find any week here where I'm not out of town or doing something else, I'll take a turn.
