Karetsu - updated, trooper designs

It was time to update Karetsu and make a trooper design. I have changed the blue to red, giving a more menacing and badass look. You can compare the old one and the new one, and give me suggestions.

So, number one or two? And two katanas or one big katana (dai-katana)? Btw, the blades are supposed to be alive, constantly whispering to their user.

I can't make much of these guys, but they are the elite. Each is possesed with a demon. The gun is a wip.

For my money, it'd be number 1 most definatley. That really does work well together and is a great combo IMO. The Ninja one would look great as an army of troops. Check out the Ninja headgear prices on Briklink, I'm sure I just bought 10+ of these from a dodgy German for next to nothing, and he had like hundreds for sale.

One problem, I can't buy from briklink as I think my parents wouldn't trust the site/sellers...any advice?
Although I do have 15 black and 2 red ninja headwraps, so a raiding force could be made.
Oh, and btw Warhead....what about my last question?
EDIT: and the trooper: black head or a normal (grim) minifig head?

Votes go to: dragon helmet, black head and long katana. Dual katanas are always badass but fit agile less armoured fighters better.

If your parents don't trust the sellers, tell them about the feedback thing and show it to them.

Edit: the dragon helm is probably one of my favourites, it fits well on almost any minifig head. I just got an idea though: the helmet could change as he goes into his possessed state, wouldn't that be cool? The longsword / dual katana could be a kind of shadow weapon that he can morph into either 1 big sword or 2 smaller ones as he sees fit (having 2 weapons really is an advantage in some situations).

I think the samurai-ish helmet is more fitting, but the dragon one looks great to. Liking <a href='http://tinyurl.com/y42zurt'>alot</a> the new trooper designs and red is way more appropriate for you then blue IMO

Ok, my Opinions are: I like the sencond helm better (I like the open face), the long sword design fits better for me, and the black face for the basic troopers better then the yellow. But a third option would be to go with a grey head so the "face" shows up against the black of the headgear. Just an option.

My vote is for the samurai helmet because it fits in better with the rest of the armor. I'd also go with the long katana. The troopers could work either way, but I think another option to consider would be to get some translucent (possibly orange) heads to give them a more futuristic feel.

Transculent...transparent?
I don't have any, although if I want to get these done I have to briklink and the heads would come with the other things.
Samurai helmet is winning atm...but I'll still wait..
