A Magikalennik Encounter - Finished

[Archduke]

The planet Lyarchioths V was once a beautiful land of prosperity, but a recent war has left it devastated, and many of the cities are walled off by massive piled of debris...


An Austrian surveyor team has been sent to the planet's surface to see if the planet has begun recovering, but their vehicle runs out of gas...


The Space Austrians send a distress call to their ships in orbit, but it is intercepted, bringing the Space Austrians directly in the path of the Magikalennik war...


The primary goal of both warring factions is to kill the other, with their secondary goal being persuasion of the Space Austrians to join their cause. The Space Austrians are only allowed to shoot when shot at, and their goal is to re-fuel their vehicle and drive away.

Actually that might be one of mine... I'm not sure, he looks SSA enough. The guy on the right very well may be one of mine too, although mine was a girl, not a guy.

It's supposed to be Gree, and you can play as him if Darkstorm says it's O.K.

Darkstorm, Gree, and 2 grunts move over to the Space Austrians, they are looking to talk (They used up their action on sprinting)


The Rest of the soldiers move up and go prone, a few of them try to shoot, but they don't kill anyone. (Return fire only happens if someone is killed)

The Omegalon Federation: Omega Prime


The Federation specialists want to have a meeting with the Space Austrians too (They also had to sprint)


The rest of the troops move up (The Captain loads a special shell, it can explode with a radius of damage, or do more damage, Omega prime gets to choose)


They Shoot down one grunt and the pirate.


One grunt is killed in return fire

Space Austrians: Archduke


The Survey crew climbs onto their truck


They have some extra fuel left! The truck will be ready to go if this guy has finished his job next turn


The other soldiers hop onto the truck

The Captain shoots an explosive shell, it takes out the Burgher


They Also kill a grunt


The Second Specialist is shot down (He dried to Bargain with the Space Austrians, but while they agree with the Federation's policy, they have a prior commitment)

Space Austrians: Archduke

The Truck is fueled up and ready to go.


The Space Austrians kill a couple grunts in order to clear the way for their escape


One crewman is killed by response fire.


With a hearty push from the captain,the truck exits the field Space Austrians Exited
(It's a bit more fair that way)

The soldiers take position, and unleash a deadly volley.


Everyone but Commander Redd (Who got a redshirt) is wiped out.

Omegalon Federation: Omega Prime


Redd Makes a break for it, He lives to fight another day.

DRK Victory!?!





Epilogue:

Darkstorm: Well, we have won a fine victory here today, this planet is ours, but for now, the DRK will rest up for the next battle
A small transport ship lands next to the survivors, they board as a fresh platoon of SSA troops pour out and secure the field...

However, Thinks are not going quite as well for the Darkstorm Empire in space, the SHIP that was leading the attack is damaged, and has to retreat so that it can repair. Both sides take losses, but the Omegalon Federation drives their foes from orbit, creating a blockade around the planet.




The Battle ends in stalemate, The SSA occupation force is trapped on the planet, and the Federation fleet does not have the manpower or the explosives to dislodge them.
