Brikwars Troop Scorer V2.0!
Hey, guys! You all haven't heard from me since before Manly Santa Day, but I hadn't been on the computer much. I decided to get on today to check on a few things and found that kidko had been trying to contact me (sorry, kidko, I never got on anymore, because YOU were never on). He sent me an interesting e-mail.
Any of you guys remember last year's troop scorer? It's been completely revamped. I was ordered in the e-mail to test it and report any bugs, and I figured he wouldn't mind a whole forum's-worth of Brikwars fanatics helping me out! So, whaddya say, guys?

Glory be to the Bomb, and to the Holy Fallout. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be. World without end. May the Blessings of the Bomb Almighty, and the Fellowship of the Holy Fallout, descend upon us all. This day and forever more. Amen!

My official post number 1000 was "The whole battle?"

"custom speed" with a value next to it doesn't actually return a value for the total CP cost. so if I want to have a troop that moves 7" per turn, it won't give me a total CP cost.
other than that, awesome job!

Plastik Armory: a bunch of weapons and abilities compatible with the 2010 rules.

I noticed that, too. Some of the variable functions don't include the CP cost in their calculations. Hopefully kidko's lurking and catching all of this.
UPDATE: The movement CP calculations bug has been fixed. You guys can use the same link.
UPDATE AGAIN: Custom specialties can now be added to the Specialties box, and you can have it calculate the CP by typing in (xCP(x being whatever the cost is)).

something thats anoying is you can't add home grown rules to it.
like mine for a commando unit which is abit better than a officer but with no squad skills they also can weild both a small rifle and a small hand weapon. sounds over powerd but it is a commando unit.
and then theres the cammando leader who is a cammando but with squad skills and +1 to attack and defence

"some people are like slinkies there really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs"
"Triangalism! What's the fuckin' point!"
How's that compression ratio?

The Commando Leader: keep the Leadership specialty. As for the armor and attack bonuses, you can set a custom armor (just pick Custom and enter "1d10+1")... as for "attack," I don't know what you mean. Maybe make a custom weapon for that. Or if you mean +1 to Skill, there's a box for skill bonuses too (defaults to +/- 0)
What's not working? You can literally edit everything except for the CP count... So for your Commando unit, just pick Officer and take out the Leadership specialty from the box. And there's absolutely nothing preventing you from giving your unit a Hand Weapon and a Long/Short-Ranged Weapon at the same time.tahthing wrote:something thats anoying is you can't add home grown rules to it.
