The New-And-Improved PRA

Post by OneEye589 » Sat May 02, 2009 5:11 pm

So I have been rebuilding my PRA (Post-Rapture Army) for a few months now after seeing Natalya and RoC77's massive armies. They would still not be able to stand toe-to-toe with them, but I thought you all might like to see some of the stuff that I've come up with.

(Link once the folder is public.)

Warning: I have changed the colors to peach. I had a lot of peach heads and hands, and had nothing to use them on. Because this army is so unified, I though this would work best.

~~~~~~~~
First and foremost, the basic troops.
Image
The entire main infantry squad.
Image
The highest ranking officers in the PRA.
Image
The standard trooper in the PRA infantry, most often known as "Maggots."
Image
Maggots with rocket launchers.
Image
Elite squad troopers with their heavy machine guns.
Image
Scout snipers with their scout motorcycles and sniper rifles (there should be one more of these soon).
~~~~~~~~~~~~

On to the vehicles and heavy weapons:

Image
My three Kommondor LAJs, one with a crate of ammunition and the other two with mounted machine guns and Jackhammer Heavy Mortar Launchers in tow.

Image
Closer view of the Kommondor and Jackhammer.

Image
The Kommondor can also be used as an easy way to transport troops.

Image
Another look at the Jackhammers. They can be ready to use within seconds of being unhitched from the Kommondors (and probably even while attached, but that may bring problems).

Image
Finally we have the Wolverine AAV Tank.

Image
It has a main cannon, chaingun, and two separate rockets.

Image
Has two operators and room for four to sit comfortably.

Image
And some more Elite squad and an Elite squad officer exiting the back.

Image
Finally the basic weapons that the PRA uses.

~~~~~~~
So that's it for now. I'll post the mutants and some other things once I make vehicles and things. Tell me what you guys think.
I have everything statted out as well, so if anyone wants stats for anything, just ask.
Very nicely organised, disciplined army that makes brikwars so great. I like it!
Also , could stats for the Jackhammer and wolverine be posted.
Thanks. Here are the stats for 2005 rules:
Jackhammer Heavy Mortar Launcher (Use 6) - 18” @ 2d10exp
+6 Infinite 2d10exp rockets and takes one turn to reload
15CP
Wolverine AAV Tank
61CP
Size (7)
Move (7“)
Armor (3d10+2)
Body Armor
Machine Gun (Use 4) - 9” @ 2d6
Rocket Launcher X2 (Use 4) - 12” @ 2d10exp (one shot each unless reloaded manually)
Cannon (Use 6) - 18” @ 2d10exp
+6 Infinite 2d10exp rockets for cannon and takes one turn to reload
And they are peaches because I was running out of yellow heads and had plenty of multiples of peach heads. I think they work fine.
Well, I think we started making our main military at the same time. I posted my main soldiers and my Kommondors before his troops and jeeps I think, but don't hold me on that. I've also been trying to make a new tank since my old Badger Mobile Assault Gun Not-A-Tank, but only just finished one that was post-worthy.
Just 35 for my main army. I wish I had more, but I'm in college right now and buying Legos is sadly not my first priority. I have plenty more figures, though.
The heavy machine gun design was actually stolen from someone on MOCPages. I forgot to add that in there, but I'm saying it now, so pleh.
The motorcycles are from the Indiana Jones Motorcycle Chase set.
And more people use the same color scheme as me. Anyway great army, but I think the "tank" is actually more of a IFV(Infantry Fighting Vehicle) like a Bradley.
Yea, I was actually going for something to look like the M2 Bradley, but it turned out being so much larger that I thought it might be a bit big for fighting infantry, so I just made it an armored assault vehicle/tank.
EDIT: And grey is a pretty common color scheme for military vehicles.
