And ranks don't matter. There's a reason why your title gets worse as you accumulate more posts. They're mostly garbage. This is evidenced by your insistence on murdering Xinhuia's username despite the sharp decline in cleverness. Xinhuia is new, and can't be expected to read all the posts of threads with several pages. Give him a break.

It's a way to encourage noobs to be productive and to make their own, unique contributions to the forum. Your title gets worse and worse as you continue to post, but once you do something that apparently defines who "you" are, Rayhawk sees fit to grant you your own custom rank. In my case, it was referring to rule sets in the bonus materials forum as "BMs".

It also encourages the idea that post count is inversely related to apparent intelligence, hence the ranks 'Jaw-Jaw', 'Dimmy', and other missteps of The LEGO Group.
