Pokemon Battle Royal Round 3

Post by MasterEcabob » Wed Jun 10, 2009 7:23 pm

Pure nostalgia

Magnemite used Thundershock!

Image

Its super effective! Totidile took 9 damage!

Zubat flew into the air!

Image

Image

Diglett used Mud-slap!

Image

Its super effective! Magnemite took 6 damage! Magnemite's accuracy was lowered!

Mareep used Thundershock!

Image

But it missed once again.

Chikorita got out of range of Totidile's black hole of a mouth.

Image

And then fed it a heavy dose of razor leaf!

Image

Image

Its super effective! Is this the end for Totidile?

Image

Nope! Totidile gets right back up after taking a whopping 2 damage!

Totidile then charges and uses bite.

Image

Image

On Silver!

Image

Image

Image

And Silver is down! But will he get back up? You decide!

END ROUND 3

Stats

Totidile: 5 HP
Hareep: 30 HP
Diglett: 27 HP
Chikorita: 30 HP
Magnemite: 24 HP Accuracy -1
Zubat: 30 HP Flying

Overwatch

Yes, Chikorita actually got ones on both Razor leaf's 1d8 damage and on the 1d6 super effective bonus. Pretty sad really. Oh, and if you haven't noticed by now, the turn order is random.

And as for what happens to Silver I'm open to suggestions. On the one hand Totidile only did 3 damage with bite but on the other hand its not like Silver actually did anything.

Also, orders are due in 24 hours.

Did you make Mud-Slap 4x efective on Magnemite? Ground gets a bonus on the ground vs. steel and ground vs. electric.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

If you want to get technical, Magnemite has the ability levitate, which makes ground moves completely ineffective against it.

Not in the game. It doesn't matter if they levitate or not, as long as they aren't Flying type Ground can affect them.

Actually Magnemite was one of the few Pokemon that doesn't levitate.

However it does know the move magnet rise, which changes its ability to levitate.

Even stranger, in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games moves that shouldn't work i.e. mud-slap on pidgey do not very effective damage, except on levitating Pokemon.

But as for the original question goes, no I didn't count mud-slap as 4x super effective, I guess you can add that to the list of screw-ups on my part for this game.

I was assuming this was a GSC game, which doesn't include abilities. Also, it could have Magnet Pull instead.

Because the3 guide was written by an idiot.

Magnemite is electric/steel.

Well this is BrikWars after all.

And I really hope you get the chance to go through with your next orders, but Zubat stands a good chance of KO'ing you first. :(

I really never saw Pokemen atacking trainers. That sort of thing doesn't happen on the games during a battle. Stupidly.

the result was always too graphic to show in the US

Is that the one where the Rocket Grunts shoot the trainer instead of attacking him with Rattatas?
