Death Battle -- Day 3

At long last, Day 3 has been completed. Today didn't have as much blood as Day 2 but it was still interesting, with one team elimination.

- Space Ninjas -

Dark Ka climbed up the side of the castle and shot through a window.

One Space Pirate down.

He then took cover inside the guard tower (got there via Spyder Gymnastix) and raised the portcullis.

- End Turn Space Ninjas -

- Vigilantes -

These guys had a change of plans. The sniper took a shot at Dark Ka.

Headshot!! The sniper finally shot someone.

And Dark Ka goes down. The Space Ninjas are out of the game!!

- End Turn Vigilantes -

- Space Zombies -

What's this? The Zombies sprinted over to Dark Ka's freshly fallen corpse...

He has been revived-- But as a Zombie!!

Dark Ka will now fight on in the afterlife, but he is no longer a hero.

- Space Pirates -

Palomar had tried for an initiative boost again, but he failed so once again his team starts in the normal order. Palomar was not a happy camper. His heavy weapons guy was dead, Zombies had gotten into the base, the Gludavians had taken out Rocket Girl and Gun-Tower Guy, Aliens were outside the wall, and he'd just witnessed the reincarnation of Dark Ka as a Zombie.

He decided that it was time to use the briefcase.

Palomar's briefcase is a special artefact. He can use it once per turn to procure any item of use to him. In the Death War he used it one round to get a bottle of booze. But today he needed /b/lackup, so his case doubled as a medical pack.

He attempts to revive the heavy weapons guy...

Success!!

He immediately proceeded to fire at the Gludavians on the Spiffcraft.

Which rolled a 3 for armour.

The blast sent the Spiffcraft reeling, knocking one Gludavian off. He was uninjured, but is lying in a prone position.

Flamethrower Guy, knowing that his blowtorch couldn't hurt the Zombies, jumped on the wall and blasted away at one of the Gludavians.

He was consumed by flames.

His armour and weapons remained for the most part intact, but the Gludavian Raider himself was immolated, leaving only a charred skeleton.

Palomar and his men then consolidated.

- Assyrian Star Empire -

The Assyrians made it out of the Moon Base and charged the Gludavian, jetpacks roaring.

The Commander, first over the roof, shot at the Gludavian, but missed.

That didn't really matter though.

The Gludavian was torn apart by the ORANGE TRANSPARENT CHAINSAW and fell off the ledge, arm missing and armour shattered. 2nd Gludavian down.

The Assyrians consolidated, but one didn't quite make it over the building.

- Space Aliens -

The aliens chucked the bomb.

Beep Beep Beep... *Click*

BOOM!!

The wall was destroyed along with part of the building. One Assyrian Star Commando was killed.

The other Alien shot at the Assyrians, but missed.

They then took cover.

- End Turn Space Aliens -

But wait... The skull was near the bomb when it went off... What has become of it?

Looks like it landed over by the Zombies!!

What are they going to do with it??

In a flash, Zombie Lincoln is reborn!! His AK-47 can turn people into Zombies if he shoots them. He counts as a hero.

- Gludavian Raiders -

Not discouraged by his team's losses, the Gludavian in the Spiffcraft punches it.

He wrecked the ship into the courtyard and fired at the Assyrians.

Another casualty for the ASE.

The Gludavian then jumped on top of the Moon Base with his jetpack and fired at the Vigilante Sniper, who died in an explosion of gore.

Nice work, and excellent to see Zombie Lincoln again. Zombie Lincoln is/has been in two Forum Wars now (this and ToOC). Come on, people, let's go for three! In fact, anyone who throws Zombie Lincoln into their battle gets a free spot in whatever I'm doing next.
