StarDate 4099 - BrikSpace Round 01
Finally! And a really nice camera. Although the bad lighting does it no justice whatsoever. I apologize for that, and the crap-tastic appearance of the battlefield. At least I'm finally getting to the first battle report!
Officially the second public BrikSpace game.
So, starting off the battle were the Reavers, got orders from them first. They release EVERY last Fighter and Bomber they have, forming two main squadrons of 10 Fighters and 4 Bombers each. They head in opposite directions, both firing volleys of missiles at the Tirade and at the Custodiet. The Reaver Frigate barely pulls off a hit on the Jackal. The Fighter/Bomber squadron headed for the Ancients all fire on the Custodiet, consolidating their fire. They achieve a hit, doing a ridiculous amount of damage (EIGHT critical successes on damage). One of the Reaver Cruisers also scores a successful hit on the Acid Rain. The Reaver's Destroyer floats forward ominously. The Fighter/Bomber squadron on the SSPE miss the Tirade by a hair's margin.

The mystery faction moves forward slightly, poised defensively.

The Shamu and Ongxcart releive themselves of their Fighters, forming up two squads; one of five and one of four. They move forward, but do not fire. The Shamu fires at the incoming Reaver Fighters, but finds it is out of range. The Ongxcart also takes aim at the Reaver Fighters, only to miss. The Tirade and Sojourner float forward as a pair, away from the Reavers and towards the center of the battlefield.

The Jackal turns and does some reconnaissance on the mystery ships (I'll get you info in a sec, kidko and Bonn-o-tron). The Acid Rain opens fire on the Reaver Destroyer, missing one shot but hitting with his rocket volley. Ra'ache attacks the Reaver Frigate, missing with lasers, but scoring a hit with its rockets. The Custodiet also opens fire on the Reaver Destroyer, and fires a Light Missile at the same target.

END OF ROUND 1 (woohoo)

(Reaver's stuff highlighted in red, SSPE in yellow, and Ancients in green. Anything with a cool flare behind it is an active missile)
Damage Index (if one of your ships is on this list, it means it was shot and and was damaged. You must send me a PM of which parts are removed from the hit ships):
Ancients:
Jackal: Hit once
Custodiet: Hit once, four missiles incoming
Acid Rain: Hit once
SSPE:
Tirade: Four missiles incoming
???:
None
Reavers:
Destroyer: Hit twice, one missile incoming
Frigate: Hit once
Wow, that was more fun than it had any right to be. Great first round, all! Send in your orders whenever you feel you're ready. Must be in by at least next Monday.
EDIT: Also, turn order is now stuck. Where you are in the turn order is where you will remain for the rest of the battle. I also would like to apologize for the minimalist photography. I had the camera, but I was on a time limit.

Yeah, with the Tirade hovering right on top of them I don't think the mystery faction is in a position to attack.
Good turn, but unfortunately I underestimated the distance between the Reavers and our fleet. Oh well, that doesn't seem to be much of a problem I guess.
Also would you prefer we continue the story on the original thread or on here?
