Gamma Corps Starfleet

Post by Elmagnifico » Mon Dec 21, 2009 5:35 pm

This is a quick microscale fleet of some of the Gamma Corps vessels that survived Fico.

First of all, the Spade-class scout cutter GSS Dirk. Armed with two anti-fighter batteries and two laser cannons, the Dirk is more than capable of handling a flight of fighters or raiding enemy shipping.

Next we have the GSS Rawnblade. The Rawnblade is a Battleblade-class assault carrier, more than capable of taking on an Imperial Arrowhead Cruiser. She is armed with eight laser cannons, four turret-mounted mass drivers, and four anti-fighter batteries. The Rawnblade also carries four squadrons of Thermopylae fighters and one squadron of Marathon bombers.

And finally, we have the GSS Blackavar. The Blackavar is a ghost ship, haunting the space lanes around Fico and mercilessly destroying any Immortal ships that it happens upon. The Blackavar is crewed by phantoms, the immaterial spirits of Gamma Corps warriors who simply refuse to give up the fight. Immortals have attempted to board the hulk, but their cries of pain are all that are ever heard from them again.

Ooh, the story expands. I like your ships, nice stylised and original. It's only a matter of time before we hunt the last sad remnants of the Gamma Corps. But to tell a story, one should always start at the beginning.

In the beginning, science created the heavens and the earth...

Huh? I thought it all began when the FBI and dad hugged each other in a special way... Oh, well. I guess I'm not the centre of the Universe. *sigh*
