Pirates - Bragallot

The cannons speak again.



But this time they hit the sand. Ah well, at least they brought down the "Keep Out" sign. (EDIT: For some reason this photo got reversed.)



Some pirates leave their ship and take cover behind the fishing boat.



Pistols and muskets are fired, cutting down three soldiers.



More pirates come ashore...



Rodrigo begins a summoning ritual.

"Let no joyful voice be heard! Let no man look up to the sky with hope! And let this day be cursed by we who ready to wake… the Kraken!"



Something rises from the sea...



...and charges Rodrigo! He must have done something wrong.



Islanders - Apollyon

The islanders move. The archers can't find any targets.







Time for Xatriya to show off.



"GERONIMO!"



A gunner is shish-kebabed.



Soldiers of St. Kitty - lrdofbricks

The soldiers discuss where to find a defensive position - after all, they are on a beach.



But suddenly they get a brilliant idea, and pile up the corpses of their dead comrades for an instant barricade!



They shoot at the islanders, but their marksmanship is abysmal. Nobody dies.



The Assyrian can't see any islanders, so he opens fire at the pirates...



...destroying their cover.



The last gunner fires the last cannon. (Xatriya isn't supposed to be there. Forgot to put her back in the triceratops' saddle.)



Score! The mast is down.

Most of the civilians move out. Joan de Gouges shouts at the top of her lungs "Imperial cowards, come here and fight us!"



The soldiers' pride forces them to leave cover...

retreat into fort and shoot at the closest targets. kill that islander leader, cannon fires on the pirates in the open

The dudes with shields go for the civilians and attack them. The same with the other two guys near the red building. The archers move further into the open field and shoot at remaining civilians.
The last two still behind the fort move towards the palm tree and hack it down.
Xatriya will round the building on her mighty steed. Filled with savage rage she makes the triceratops storm through the entrance impaling whoever is in her way on the back wall.

Make my people move up and kill the incoming imperials

The pistol guys return fire on the assyrian if he takes aim at them again. If not, they move out of the cannon's line of fire, then everything ranged, including the cannons, shoot at the fighting islanders and civilians; they don't care who dies. The melee pirates ignore the fighting and sprint around it to the fortress. Ranged guys follow them to provide cover next turn. If someone still gets in the way they'll of course have no choice but to kill the poor chap. Rodrigo goes mad seeing his mast destroyed and tosses the kraken at the imperials outside the stronghold where it can wreak havoc without tearing up his beloved Bloodstained Serpent any further... and leave his ass untouched. Pirates make piraty noises and sing piratish songs to annoy people around them.
