The other soldier barricades the door.



The Assyrian shoots at the pirates outside, but misses.

It's starting to get hard to come up with new ways of saying "Cannons fire".



Cannons miss.



Rodrigo and his gunners leave the ship.



They start searching for weapons. Rodrigo finds some, but the gunners can't reach any this turn.



"Arrgh! Yer mothers be such sluts, that... I AM YOUR FATHER!"



Enraged and confused by this unexpected plot twist, the soldiers charge out.



The fight between the islanders and pirates continues with no casualties.

Since noone wants to enter or leave right now anyway both islanders take a torch each from the entrance and set the inside on fire. Surely there is something highly combustible in there (it is hard to make out such details on your pictures Arkbrik). Once they are done with that they run for it towards the beach.

Pirates outside the bastion fire at the Assyrian (melee pirate throws handweapon) and run. Rodrigo calls upon the vengeful spirits of sailors to bring as many of his men back to life as he can. Zombified or otherwise, they should kill what soldiers they can. After having scooped up some weapons, Rodrigo and gunners return to the cannons, sprinting if they can.

Yes, but I must say you are the most awesome forum battle host ever I suppose if they're 'neutral' like the krakenman they could still do the damage required, so I'm prepared to take the risk
