Von Bragstein (Bragallot):
'Yes! The power is mine! All mine!'
As so, Karl starts to incorporate the artefact into his suit, to grant him infinite energy...
'NOT SO FAST VON BRAGSTEIN!' yelled Ezra, who used his unused feat as a reaction. He loaded his syringe with a deadly concoction...
The acidic bolt ate away the constructs leg, which shook, but still remained on it's feet (despite on of it was nothing but a puddle of molten metal) (-1hp).
The forceful blow knocked back Ezra a bit.
'I need to gather more strength Ezra, act first!' said the devious sorceror.
Ezra rejoined his cultist, then fired at the swordsmen. Due to bad rolls, only 1 died.
1 skeletal officer got resurrected; they attacked Fabio's squad, but only managed to kill one.
The remaining archers backed them up, and slew 2 swordsmen.
The rest of the plague zombies overrun the crossbowmen.
The last squaddie was also pulverized; the individual swordsman survived, however.
Another skeletal officer got revived and the squad moved in.
Deadlock moved into the middle and cried into the masses: ' I OFFER MY OWN BLOOD FOR THEIR ETERNAL MISERY! AID ME, LORDS OF AGONY!'
The result was a deadly energy ripple in 11 inches, affecting all living (before you start whining, yes, cultist are not undead, only terribly warped humans, and Ezra is not one, either). Albeit it only killed 2 swordsmen, it massacred almost all the cultists, and paid a heavy toll on Ezra, who lost 2 hp.
'What is wrong with you, you worm?'
'Why sorry, Ezra, it was an unfortunate
Fabio, constating his lowly numbers, improvised:
'hey... you guys aren't really gonna die on now, will you?'
Sadly his words did not affect the recently dead imperials to rise and fight.
'We have a common enemy here, orks! No need to fight!'
However, this didn't really impressed them, maybe because they were too busy gutting Blaze's men.
Fabio realised he only had one man, so he did what he would do in this type of situation:
'Watch my back while I get 'reinforcements' .'
So he ran to safety, while his last men killed a skeleton.
The dwarves turned against the orks, and though they killed some, more of their brethren fell.
'What? Ye foul beasts!'
So Blaze ran, while his anger for his lost men burned in him like seething magma...
... and slashed 3 orks away with all his might. However, such heroic deeds take a toll even on the best fighters (-1hp).
The spearmen killed 2 orks on the other side.
Orks (wazman2-Lt. Krus duo/gestalt entity):
The remaining boys ganged on the exhausted dwarf...
... I rolled an obscene amount of damage...
... and thus ended Blaze Ironbreaker's fate. Manly death ; _ ;
Back at the spearmen, the orkbyos manage to take down 1.
Lastly, the spearboys tried to assault Von Brag in his machine with leaping on top.
They didn't manage to do that but their momentum knocked Von Bragstein's automaton out of balance, which fell. Karl and the artefact both rolled out from the cockpit.
Thus ends turn 5. Send your orders!
