Infantry squads move in, ready to react.
The storm titan moves in, and casts chain lightning, killing two grave guards.
Finally Apollyon moves in and tries to consecrate the artefact but fails.
Fink
Necrolyte reanimates the black skeleton, then the rest slay 3 orks.
Others move closer, while Rot Walker kills another ork.
Fink is no magician but he can use his trademark feat--- He's behind you!
Sadly, damage rolls are poor.
Warboss
Ignoring Fink, the Warboss pulls off a battle leap.
With shitloads of criticals, he does some big damage.
He rejoins the ranks of the boyz, then the champiork uses his battle cry, giving -1 skill to the ax skeletons.
Arrowboyz bust off 1 hp from Rot Walker.
The other boys charge and overkill a knight and even his mount, and also lock the cavalry in cc.
Dwarves went for a reaction charge but didn't manage to reach their target.
Shaman
Even though the shaman's magiks failed him this round he managed to reach the artefact and claim it!
The rest, well... followed. (some elaborate orders would come handy next time, RM)
Beaky conjured a GREAT BALL OF FIRE!
Its target was no other than the rune-paladin.
He got knocked off and burnt (-1hp, -1action next round).

Ghoul
Ranged troops went to support Fink.
Crossbow skeletons fire a hail towards the warboss, who picks up the champiork and uses him as a living shield. At least it's not him who dies.
Glommox fire a barrage of poison to the shaman, who loses 1 hp.
Ghoul accepts the duel and heads towards Fabio, when! Ambush! Gang-up! HORRIFIC DAMAGE DESPITE NEGATIVE MODS! -2hp!
Ghoul: 'this is not how Deadlock said it would be...'

It drained away 1 hp from all of Heltar's units.
Then his terrorguard and ghosts attacked, killing 1 nega-drake.
Heltar
'Two can play this game' said the archdemon and unleashed a wave of fire, dealing 1 point of damage to 3 terrorguards. Sadly, no other successful attacks happened.
