Unit X Turn 4:

The Grenade scout runs over and chucks one at Dora...

*Clink*

BOOM!!

The grenade was on target, but had a low damage roll which Dora's armour overcame. She's still alive with 1 HP.

The heavy marine has more luck. Indiana Jones just got headshotted.

Then on the roof of the other building, two teleport tracers appeared.

Unit X's last two marines teleport down. They shoot out the window on the second floor of the office building hoping to kill the Peaches inside. The minigunner at the opposite window goes down with a bullet to his back, but the heavy survives.

And over by the desert compound the knife scout hops in the truck and starts it up.
Immortal Empire Sympathizers:

I got orders for them this round. They're back in the game. The three of them who were in the small building rush out in an all-for-nothing assault on the police.

They don't do as well as they had hoped; only one officer got killed initially, but the Draco kid grabbed his laser rifle off the ground and shot another one. Unfortunately, he rolled a 6 for damage, which sent it way higher than expected, and his friend who had been cuffed was blasted in the back with the overkill damage.
Dora the Explorien:

Dora doesn't like it when people throw grenades at her. The Unit X scout learned that the hard way.

She then tried a Heroic Feat to kick the truck into the office building, but she failed and stubbed her toe instead.
Assyrian Sympathizers:

The ASE Sympathizers turn away from the Peach-occupied office and all fire on the IE Sympathizers.

With some good rolls and a successful Heroic Feat they managed to lay them all down.
- Immortal Empire Sympathizers ELIMINATED -
Their lack of orders for two turns seriously handicapped them, but they still had a good run.
Police:

The Police were supposed to start arresting the ASE Sympathizers this turn, but they unexpectedly lost two more officers. With that in mind, the Police Chief decided to thank them instead for avenging the deaths of two of his officers.
- The Police and the ASE Sympathizers are now Allied -

The Chief then grabbed the dropped Golden Gun and hopped onto the black trike with his only surviving officer. He waved goodbye to the ASE Symp. hero guy.

They then motored over to the far side of the building, heading back towards the Police Death Fortress. The Chief now had only one thought in his mind... He had to kill Dora the Explorien.
Peach Resistance

Oh shit...

Direct Hit!!

16 damage is dealt two the two marines. There was no way they could have survived. Even the roof collapsed under the rocket's blast.

The Peach Hero tried to slice open the roof to kill the sniper on top, but his Heroic Feat failed. So, instead he stepped down the stairs and blasted the first Yellow he saw standing outside.

He then retreated back up the stairs. Back against the wall he watched his last surviving team-mate reload. They had killed many of the enemy, but their odds of surviving were dwindling fast.

Wow, this is a cool battle, although compared to some of your others it is small, but that doesn't mean it's cool.
I hope to see another Death-War scale forum battle with that armoured core beast you have, eventually.

I need a battlefield big enough and awesome enough to warrant a massive duel between all my armies. The Death War battlefield was big, but not big enough and it wasn't all that cool. Now I finally have some city-type elements like the streets and the office building, but I still need to work on expanding that type of stuff.
Don't worry though, I definitely want to do another huge battle.

No orders for two turns, what a waste of a players spot.
Excellent battle, loving all the guns and pics.

Well, it's been a lightning battle given the usual pace of these things, so I'm not surprised he wasn't around to send instructions. But then again, it's been rare for me to have that much time in one day to do that many turns. See, my car is in the shop so I was stuck at home all day Thursday and Friday, so I wasn't about to let one straggler hold up the whole game.

Perhaps your next battle could have a story lina along the lines of "the czhecks (yeah I know) have captured the death tank and the assyrians want it back it back."

Considering how this battle is going, I have a feeling the Czech will ally the Assyrians.

yeah...

...the Immortals could have provided a technological boost to their armies too, cancelling out the Assyrian technological superiority that there has been all these years.

H'mm, I'm going to have to re-evaluate your potential, so long as you can give up going n00b post-al too often.

I hope that's a
good re-evaluation. And yes, I'll give up n00b-posting for a while.
