Laura: “What do you think about the commander's new look, Skaie?"
Skaie: “He looks like a turtle on a race track. Completely out of place and without a chance in hell to win."

Sigh… I must attempt to ward off this disaster

“Sir, the city of Gelron is completely enrounded by water and if we have to deal with both the Water Demons and the city garrisson at the same time we’ll be outnumbered, have you considered that the Water Demons might appear behind us during our atta-“
“Look!” Fabian said, pointing in the distance.

“Scouts of the enemy! They’ve discovered us! Cavalry, with me! The rest of you stay here!” Fabian yelled.
“Sir, I suspect a tr-“
“Charge!”
Well this should be interesting, he's leading a division of armoured cavalry straight into a bog

“Hah! They flee before us already!”

“What in the name of-? Halt!”

“No enemy of the realm shall cross these fords unharmed! I Karlus of Gelron, Guardian of the Swamp, have spoken!”

“Does that guy seriously have an ape painted on his shield?”
“I fear so indeed…”

“So you have finally found the guts to go against us. You have waited so long, I think you should look more excited.”

“It’s a trap! Back to the river!”
“Milord, they’re behind us as well!”

So they appeared from the water... What a surprise

“Wait a minute… This shivering eel can’t be the commander I’ve heard so much about… He must still be with the main force. Blackpants, you keep everything together here, I’m going to switch places with my son…”

“As much as I hate it, we’re going to have to try and save him. Laura, you take Cassandra’s troops and lend our brave commander some backup. I’ll fight off these demons with the men we have here.”
“Yes, sir.”

A small group of Bulls appeared. Marnix himself was too busy keeping his lands together, but he had sent what little men he could to try and rid them of the Eagle for once and for all. Since he had lost so many experienced generals to the rebellion and many wars he had fought he'd been forced to send Weasle, a younger commander who was more of a cutthroat than an actual leader.
Weasle: "This seems to be a good opportunity men! Since we're so few, we'll likely have little impact on the battle, so remember clipping the Eagle's wings is all we're here for!"

Fishstache: “You’ll all be drowned, before the day is out!”

Available factions
Kingdom Forces
Main objective: drive off the Kerratian forces from the fords. Do not let their commander escape! The death of Lord Fabian will be important for it will destabilize their war effort at home.
- Waterdemons (Ogel96)
Side objective: General Fishstache has taken interest in this famed warrior they call ‘the Eagle’, not to mention the hatred he’s built up for the man for avoiding an all-out confrontation for so long and making him fall out of grace with the King. Have Fishstache duel Skaie so he can set this direct insult to his honour straight personally... and in bloody fashion.
- Karlus of Gelron (Rev. Sylvanus)
- Bull Deathsquad (Warhead)
Objective: kill Skaie. Show the world what happens to people who assault the Bull people without honour.
Kerrat Intruders
Main objective: secure this area and assure a safe journey back by defeating all Kingdom forces. Lord Fabian should survive.
- Lord Fabian’s cavalry (Robot Monkey)
- Skaie’s infantry (NapalmKing)
- Laura’s rescue force (Paco the Duck Ninja)
There's also one terrain issue: since they're 'in a swamp' the cavalry can't charge across the blue zones or they'll drown. They can however move over slowly.
Sooo… As anyone who’s read the Interlude to Faith Divides Us – Death Unites Us knows I have a lot of battles planned and need to get on with them! That’s why this dual battle is taking place. I don’t mind if you’re already in Freedom’s Blood; You can still sign up here even if you are. If you happen to be in both titles make sure you at least include the name of the forum battle in your PM title when you send orders or I will have to kill you… thanks in advance. And no, neither battle will be discontinued because of the other or anything so you don't have to worry.
