They get moving.
Two start scavenging, one robs the breastplate from a skeleton and other makes an improvised shield.
All gather round the Priest: ranged units in the back and cc in the front. They prepare to drive off everyone who strays too close to the altar.
Meanwhile the chieftain get up the wall:
He inspires his tribesmen:
"We have survived this long; these puny enemies will not get us down to our knees!"
All the cultists are inspired and receive +2 to ranged weapons range, +1 to damage and +2 to ?
Ignoring the noise the Priest begins the ritual...
...and two points are taken off from the total 15=13 points remaining!
The beastmaster runs...
...and climbs...
...and begins a summoning spell!
"Crawl out of your holes, your nests, to seek the flesh of these intruders, oh stinging ones!"
Critters appear and they immediately start chewing the supports of various bridges and chains.
Nothing is accomplished even when the nasties tried their best. One spider gets impaled when the ladders fall.
The archer prepares an arrow to shoot at any moving enemies (response action).
Fellbat knights
The melee force advances. Two climb up the barricade and the halberdier even gets to strike a blow...
...but the cultists are prepared and release their weapons!
One bonespear fell too short from its target but other impales the halberdier just as he is about to strike the golem. One pike-armed knight is killed from a clean shot from the archer.
Leaving the knights to do the dirty job, Lord Wolfenstein makes a call:
"Listen to them, the children of night! The beatiful music they make!"
With flaps of leathery wings a swarm of bats appear to aid the Fellbat knights.
*FLOP* "Ah, Lord Wolfenstein!"
"Dracela? Jolly good to see you! So, you picked the job of a vampire then?"
"Yes, and you look like a generic evil lord! I was making a trip to my castle when the flock suddenly changed direction and they took me here. Mind if I join the onslaught?"
"Sure, go ahead!"
Count Dracela is up for grabs. He is allied with the Fellbatknights. The bats are in Lord Wolfensteins control. Stats:
Skill:1d6+2
Armor:1d6+3(2 hp if loses one then stats are halved)
Movement:7 ground and fly movement.
Equipment:Heavy weapon
(I rolled a six Arkbrik, thats why)
The 2 crossbowmen try to shoot down the archer but miss wildly.
Colorpantknights
Note to Trebnos1: I had to improvisise a bit as the cultists had changed positions quite much.
The left flank moves out: Sir hound covers the crossbowknight as he shoots at the cultist who throws a bonespear in return-both fail. Axeknights are advancing...
To the middle-left chamber. They make it to the entrance and the first checks the floor for traps and finds nothing-safe to go.
Not quite making it to shoot the turban-wearing cultist he shoots at the beastmaster instead who send a magical blast back.
The blast breaks the neck of the musketeer against the wall, but his shot more than kills the beastmaster. (sadly I have lost the pic of it, but you'll see the result in the overviews
Oh, and critters are now NPC
All of the knights advance to the wall; one even climbs up but alas, the chieftains enchanted spear struck true even with a good parry. The knight dies in agony.
Meanwhile Sir Donju and a swordknight have something else in mind. The knight swaps his sword to a playmobil dagger, and kindly puts his former weapon to the skeletons ribs.
"Stay back, son, I'll show you what my sword arm is made of!"
*CRASH* Sir Donju cleanly cuts the wall away, something to do with the chest perhaps?
