to get all the years line up with one title each and some roundabout connection to the name, some were quite a stretch.
brikthulhu- end of the world, turn of the modern era, not really a stretch. (also my birth-year)
Super tank- people been makin em.
minifig- modern one came out in '78
mech- natalya's AC in 2009
protofig-hospital 555 came out in 1976
trianglism-started in 2007
undead-bit of a stretch, since the skelton's release conflicted, so instead, i just lined it up with Ole Kirk's death year, which is 1958. (he founded lego)
rules- most current official version is the 2005.
otc-conflicted with every date i could find even the leas connection with, so i just put it opposite brikthulhu because only the otc should have that honor.
armoured car-also, most dates conflicted, but in 2003 lego released an armoured car.
pirate-conflicing with release, so i put the re-release date, 2002.
dsm-most 'classic space' sets released in 1985.
castle-reign of king leo begins in 2000. (release date conflicts)
iceworlder-release date conflicted with three others, so in 1999 the last iceworld set was re-released under a different name 5 years after the theme officially ended.
2*2-lego trademarked and official in 1934, lego is 'born,' so to speak.
Ship-was gonna use the date of the orginal SONKS for this, but that was taken. instead, in 1981, spacehip design was revolutionized in lego with the release of starfleet voyager.
alos, while looking for pics, i came across this. it would appear rayhawk has been merchandising.
EDIT: finished and was gonna post at midnight last, but internet was down untill this morning. but with that, happy year of the super tank.
