The Urchin APC is the primary troop transport of the OLD. It is equipped with fairly heavy armor, a pair of medium grade lasers, and a pair of miniguns.

The Urchin has a carrying capacity of four soldiers plus the pilot.

The Barracuda Infantry Support Tank is a good general purpose vehicle equipped with relatively short-ranged weaponry.

The main armament consists of a linked pair of 50mm cannon with a hull-mounted minigun for anti-infantry and four homing missiles for close-range anti-tank and anti-structure.

The Barracuda has a two-man crew, one driver and one gunner, who work in concert to deliver the tank's devastating firepower.

The Hydra is the OLD's Main Battle Tank and the second most common Armored Fighting Vehicle fielded by the Expeditionary Force after the Urchin APC.

Armed with two miniguns in sponson mounts, a hull-mounted light autocannon, a heavy plasma cannon and a coaxial 45mm cannon. Combined with its thick armor and moderate speed, the Hydra is a force to be reckoned with.

Hydra crews are fiercely competitive and will often keep a running "kill tally" throughout a campaign.

Since regular infantry can rarely keep up with armor in the heat of battle (and not in small part due to the above-mentioned manpower shortage), the OLD deploys Tripedal Extended Combat and Campaign Robotic Units, or Tribots for short.

These fully autonomous robots may have the personality of day-old porridge, but they are very skilled in combat. Note that they wield even titanium halberds, pulse disruptors (the gray-tipped ones), and laser repeaters (red-tipped ones) with the greatest of ease.

To liven up their general lack of personality, Captain Tyro has taken it upon himself to teach the Tribots to dance, with his limited success demonstrated above.

The Heron Mod F is a fire-support robot that often accompanies the Tribots into battle. It is armed with an extended-range beam disruptor and a 20mm gatling cannon making it very flexible in combat.

The Heron Mod C is designed for close combat and sports slightly heavier armor than the Mod F. It is armed with a pair of awesomite claws and a pair of shoulder-mounted assault blasters. Excellent reaction time and an expanded processing unit allow the Mod C to outperform most organic creatures of similar size in combat.
Thanks for reading and special thanks to Natalya, to whose Super Death Tank my Hydras may or may not bear a more than passing resemblance.
