Battle of the Flooded Plains Turn 2

Postby Paco » Wed Mar 30, 2011 11:39 pm

Now with less fail and a larger body count!

Surfer and Hoes - Ogel96
Image
The Hoe tries to persuade the constable to join her side, so she naturally uses the most efficent method.

Image
The Surfer uses a wave feat to wash away the undead.

Image

Image
This results in three undead being knocked five inches away.

Orkz - Fish!!!
Image
From the corner of his eye, Gorkbachov sees something:

Image
Water starts spilling out of the lake in an unnatural way.

Image
Jonathon F!sher has entered the game.Suprise! =P

But who's side is he on?

Image
WTF? The Drakhirri?
Okay, so when Zahru said that they were being paid by an angry Prussian man with a monocle, this is obviously who he meant, right?

Image
As per orders, Gorkbachov sees a hero worthy of his challenge, and duel commences.

Image
F!SH strikes first, and Gorkbachov barely avoids losing an HP (the shield saved him, but was wrecked.)

Image
Unfazed, Gorkbachov swings his massive axe at F!SH.

Image
F!SH is on a roll, and dodges expertly, while Gorky faces some problems with momentum.

Image
The troll, still pumped from his mountain-raising-monkey-killing attack last turn attempts something creative.

Image
Tah-dah! Polearm + Tape + Cart = Improvised Mauler!

Image
With his club slung across his back, our pal sets off towards those blasted Imperials, whistling some death metal to himself as he plods away.

Image
The War Pig pulls apart more of the building.

Image
He strategically places it (well, just where there was a nice open space, these are orks you know) so that it will cut off any avenue of advance for the Drakhirri.

Image
The Crossbowrk sees a clear target.

Image
It's a hit!

Image
She takes the hit hard, and to boot, falls on some Molotov cocktails.

Image
Meanwhile, the Axeboyz charge the Drakhirri elites.

Image
Dealing minimal damage to one.

Image
Counters slew two. Meanwhile, the Ork with the Molotov cocktail heads off, with malicious intent. (I lost the pic, but he's right next to the ork archer)

~~~~~
More to come tomorrow:
Zahru: You have control of the two elites and F!SH. I gave you reinforcements since I screwed you at the start, placing you in between two of the strongest factions, and having the smallest team. I also wanted to see what it would be like for FISH!!! to face off against his own sig-fig.
FISH!!!: How does he look? I don't have any Vikings torsos, so I decaled it, in the tradition of your Rangers I guess.
Drakhirri
Image
The Drakhirri charge the skeletons.
Image
Two are speared.
Image
The officer jumps up and faces against Hemotaros.
Duel commencing
Image
Hemotaros gets the first attack and hits the officer with the explosive OT tip of his staff:
Image
It's super effective!
Image
The results are messy.
Image
Wait... maybe using an explosive weapon in CC miiiiight not have been such a good idea. Hemotaros is down to 1 wound and disrupted.
More tomorrow.
Iron Scorpions - Brag
Image
The archer climbs the wagon, and snipes an undead.
Image
The troops head out. The swordsmen positon themeselves at the back of the wagon.
Image
The push it, one manages to knock himself out in doing so.
Image
It flies forward, crushing an alligator's neck and ~two undead in the process.
Image
The hero tries to find his clove of garlic, but all he found was a cherry.
Image
The Ubershnekt attack the Vampire Count.
Image
And after some miserable rolls on the Count's side, bisects him.
Image
Then the knight catches something worthy of his attention-
Image
And after a poorly done effect that was supposed to resemble a horse jumping in the air-
Image
Hemotaros is pinned.
Image
Meanwhile, Karlos gets up, pissed, as usual.
------
More tomorrow... or eventually...
The Peaches - Ben-Jammin'(?)
Image
The heavy axemen attack Arkatox.
Image
Doing a bit more damage, and breaking his Fire Blaster.
Foolish Mortals, you're just increasing my penchant for your suffering...
Image
The Ninji continue their attack on the Imperial's Swordmaster.
Image
He uses his reaction to jump back, escaping CC, but loses his shield and helmet in the process.
Noticing his disrupted comrade in front of him, he awkwardly replies:
"Don't worry, Charles, you'll probably be fine!"
Image
All this junk can't be good for the river's inhabitants. Oh well, more animal cruelty.
Image
The archers move up and aim for The Imperials, as per orders. Poor rolls didn't have much of a result.
Image
The hero is ordered to persuade the Hoes to join the Peach cause. Seeing the Miley Slutruy's successful conversion of the cop, he does the same.
"Oh, Reg, you're so big!" (Quote ripped from Phantasm III, a hilariously bad B-Horror Movie.)
Image
Reg and his new ally head to join up with the archers.
Imperial Crownies - NapalmKing (?)
Image
The King is still incapacitated.
Image
The Workers rush in to help him.
Image
The Crocodile is immolated!
[i]"Thanks, men." "Now I'm trapped under a BURNING 400 pound beast."
He's just overreacting, The king will be able to get out next turn.
Image
The boat moves up, and reaches the Peach Archers. Two spearmen are in range.
Image
One is speared.
Image
The Swordmaster fumbles and falls into the water.
Note: The gray elite knight will be able to act next turn, I just forgot to stand him up.
---------
Turn in tomorrow for the Undead's turn and Overviews!
The Undead
Image
Two undead approach on Miley Slutrus and the officer, who are oblivious to their presence.
Image
The cop is taken down.
Image
His lover doesn't last much longer, she is taken out by a lady zombie, who sneers at her:
Talentless whore.
Image
Even one the stronger fall.
Image
The rest of the horde shambles forth. Imperial counters fail.
Image
Several move towards the orks.
Image
Another zombie is still alive near the Iron Scorpions, but swings around, doing nothing.
