It helped him to kill a heavy swordsman, apparently. Counters were useless.
Water Demons - Ogel96
Fishstache rid himself of another crossbowman, despite a failed feat that spelled some negative mods ON TOP of those he was already suffering.
Fat Olaf stupidly got a 6 on his heroic feat again!
The fords flooded with water, bringing new strength to the Water Demons, who roared in unison, and fear to the enemy, the critical success completely reversing the effects of Skaie's cunning tactic...
They then moved, but didn't reach any opposition.
The final knight was butchered.
The Royal Guard's charge overwhelmed the crossbowmen.
This Chosen Warrior chose to charge in with his horn, but was parried. Counters failed. Crossbows make very bad cc weapons...
The Swamp Lurker crushed a man's head.
Then he paid the price in blood.
Laura's Forces - Paco The Duck Ninja
Despite Fat Olaf turning the tables against them the Crimson Footmen fought on, and they killed all but one of the Royal Guard, who retaliated killing one enemy on each squad.
The owl stood victoriously in 'a duel of weird looking Swamp Creature Championship...ness.' , as Paco The Duck Ninja so marvelously described it
Skaie's Force - NapalmKing (and for some reason I mix you up with GeneralOfDeath some of the time... Probably being tired when I'm posting these things up has something to do with it though)
An officer tried cpr on Skaie... It's not very effective when you're wearing armour, and while I didn't disallow it a crit fail didn't exactly give me much to work with
Continued attempts to club Fishstache with crossbows resulted in another of them being mowed down mercilessly.
One crossbowman tried to 'take care' of a Chosen Warrior, the idea was just so the others could focus their efforts elsewhere without wasting their action though. The Chosen Warrior wondered what this human was trying to accomplish...
Then he just killed him.
The officer instructed his men to fire on Fishstache. My house rule for this is slightly different from the rulebook (hits hit the target, misses hit your own troops, they're not evenly divided over the number of units in cc). Which should be good for the crossbowmen! Of course, Fat Olaf made them suffer a negative mod...
They shot their own troops, of course rolling much better on their damage rolls (
), so the officer saw no other option than to charge Fishstache himself...
Fishstache blocked the well-aimed but nevertheless puny attack.
His armour saved the officer when Fishstache return-striked.

I'm just quickly posting this 'cos the FBI's doing a lot of travelling soon and will need it, plus I'm getting more and more busy, but I didn't want to have you wait all that time. Could be some time until the next one though
