There are three different branches of the military in the United Klingdom, those being the Army, Royal Navy and the Royal Airforce.

Organization
Army
The UK ground forces are organised as follows:
Infantry
Four soldiers to a fireteam, lead by a corporal. (5 men)
Twelve soldiers to a section, lead by a sergeant. (13 men)
Thirty-six soldiers to a platoon, lead by either a warrant officer or lieutenant. (40 men)
Eighty soldiers to a company, lead by either a captain or a major. (81 men)
320 soldiers to a battalion, lead by a lieutenant colonel. (325 men)
Armour
Two tanks and two IFV to a patrol.
Four tanks to a platoon.
Fourteen tanks to a company.
Fifty-six tanks to a regiment, supported by a motorised infantry battalion, field regiment and a light anti aircraft regiment.
Royal Airforce

The Royal Navy is the principal naval warfare service branch of the UK Armed Forces. As of 15 April BR 2,015, there are 11 commissioned ships in the Royal Navy. All ships and fighter craft currently in commission with the Royal Navy were built in UK territories by the naval wing of ABS Defence Systems.
