A Personal Teleporter is a character sized device ranging in size from a palm sized attachment all the way up to a large, heavy backback and has the relative capacity to instantaneously transport an individual from one point in space to another. The greater the power source, the greater the translocation distance. It is a highly specialized piece of Teknology, nearly Epitek, as most translocation teknology requires the use of massive Portals. Due to its specialized nature, it is also an expensive piece of teknology and so it is rarely seen among common infantry.
