The Helvetik Konfederation
Origins
The Helvetik Konfederation is a relatively small cluster of worlds situated in roughly the North-west of the Nehellemium Galaxy The Helvetiks were once an extremely violent warrior race who flew around everywhere in cool spaceships, one day they decided for some strange reason to make a home for themselves, separate into smaller groups and ignore eachother.
Many GRs ago, the now Capital world of Bernania decided that the 25 other worlds around it would be better off under Bernanian control. Those who didn’t vote to join forces were soon scared into compliance by the gathering military sledgehammer waiting to be swung at whoever would dare oppose the new order.
After a few last planets were violently “persuaded” to join the confederation, a wonderful and leisurely democracy was created and the inhabitants of the Helvetik Konfederation lived out their lives happily for a long time.
Recent history
Since this new society hadn’t been to war with anyone yet, a man in a pub took another swig of maniac beer before belching: “Are the Helvetiks peacniks or what?”. This was a turning point in History; once calm and lovely minifigs were possessed with rage and hatred, they descended into the streets and fought and killed and destroyed until everything they had worked so long to build was swept away in a hurricane of violence. A new leader emerged from this hell, he took the minifigs, gave them uniforms, guns and gave them purpose. Warriors flocked to his side and soon the majority obeyed him. Using the tide of anger at his command, he decided to ventilate their hatred on the minority of Helvetik society: Peaches. Once their new inner enemy was wiped out, the Helvetiks turned their gaze to the stars.
Now
Despite the fact that Bernania is the capital world and city of the Konfederation, the planet called Geneviania is far more well known around the galaxy and many falsely believe it to be the capital. For this reason, Geneviania is the hated most by all the other worlds. Despite the fact that the Helvetik Konfederation isn't really a confederation, the word confederation was kept because it sounds nice.
After a shortish war, an alliance was made with the Phalek empire in order to end it. The main reason that the Helvetiks joined was because they had little experience in battle and otherwise they would surely been wiped out quickly by any galactic force they encountered.
