Well, the look of the battle has changed quite a few times. My expectations have ranged from total disaster to a glorious victory. Now they hang around "I cannot survive, but I'll take as many of those damn undeads down as I can". I estimate that when my all guys are dead or zombies, Galagoo will be...

Sorry to bring this thread from the dead, but I was too lazy to make a new thread. Few weeks ago I spoke with my brother, and we agreed that it had been way too long time ago when we last played BrikWars. So few days ago, when our test weeks were over, we started to think about a new game. Today we ...

Hi guys. Remember me ? I've been quite inactive lately, but yesterday I started to surf the net and found myself from here. And I thought: "Hey, let's go and check what's happening!" So here I am again. I didn't read the chapter, because I have so little time right now (two hours from now and...

In fact if you examine the 2001 rules ranged modifiers then you see that he had implemented a -2 skill for aiming at head sized objects. Actually, you don't even look at the 2001 rules, just go to Core Rules Chapter Five: Combat. It's right there. But yeah, the point was not where the rule is, but ...

Dodih. The playtest is done. It included medik, shotgun, minigun and flamethrower. Medik: Didn't get to see too much action, but some changes were done. New versions of all four will be edited in the first post. Shotgun: Got used a lot. Deadly as hell in short range. UR was reduced to 3 mid-game and...

Great! Finally someone is making signatures for lazy people :)

I'd like to have one, preferably 40-70 pixels high, with text 'Houndis'. Add some more, if you feel like it. Green or blue, if you would be so nice. Thank you.

Even if the memorizing of "more range = less damage" formula might be little complicated, it's worth it. We playtested our shotgun, and it works great. The only mid-game changes we had to do was lower the UR to 3 and make it hit 2 guys maximum. Now we have 0-4" 2d6 of damage and 4-8" 1d6 of damage. ...

Well, maybe 2x for UR is better. At least easier.

But then I'd say that boost the cost for 4x minimum. Otherwise it's way too cheap. But at least the range is not too superior anymore :)

War stuff

So, couple of days ago me and my brother Galagoo were thinking new weapons for BrikWars. Result was six weapons and two units. I believe that many of you won't like these for they might seem too complicated, but it is no miracle. None of these have been tested. The testgame will begin on the evening...

i think 2x for UR works perfectly fine and is easier than 2.5x, but i prefer your 3x+3 damage, as well. remember, i don't think we're trying to make giant guns by any means BAD. they're by far the coolest weapons on the field, and should be as effective as they are awesome. just not too ridiculousl...

Why this thread has been left to die when the problem is not solved? Now, after a long vacation from these forums, I shall return and wake this sleeping beauty. So, what do we have here? Special Creations' Weapons too easy compared to their strenght? Have no fear, for I am here! I have no idea for t...

That looked cool, but there was one great mistake there. AN ALLIANCE. It's not BrikWars to make an alliance in the middle of the game. Other than that, the battle was great. I would have taken more photos, now it seemed kind of unclear what was happening.

Great one for the first BrikWars!

That looks good, Smalex. Really good :) Let's see if I come up with any ideas.. First of all, the demolition squad should have some better weapons. You know, Noisy Cricket or an assault rifle. Some other SMG or a shotgun could be better, but I definitely wouldn't give them the same weapon as the nor...
