I agree, rulebook worthy IMO. Should fit well in the squad combat chapter.

Re: Energy Shields As Weapons?

Just make it count as a bigger weapon. Usually if you add some power effect bullshit thing I'm super fine with a weapon counting as bigger then it actually is. For example a chainsaw is usually really short but because it is engine powered I'm fine with them being heavy weapons or two-handed weapons...

Up to twice its size so you are absolutely in the clear although taking size damage will also reduce your power level so you might want to add some smaller armaments for when that happens.

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII

I wonder if I should add a strict 2" Melee Weapon category into the Hand-Held Weapons section Chapter 8, to go in-between Heavy and 2H weapons. Or at least add a note about them. That would be cool. Just a note would be fine I guess Also I wonder if I should allow handheld polearms for larger creat...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII

This is because the two-handed weapons are usually a lot longer than 2" and actually more around the 3"-4" range. So it's to balance out the fact that they have added range compared to actual 2" CC weapons. Atleast this is the narrative Stubby made up afterwards to sweet talk the fact that the minif...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII

So for some weird reason I thought that the Hero's armor was changed to 1d10 in the 2010 book, but when I checked it was still 2d6.
So it's just going to stay 2d6 now?

Re: Barbed wire

Yes absolutely, they where awesome. It's just that you needed so many. I don't remember who but somebody just twisted some chain pieces tightly in one of their battles and it looked very convincingly like barbed wire. Haha, I did that in my Prison Break! Battle. Haha yeah that looked great mate che...
