Re: Stealth Tank Stealth Question

You could give it a specialty like Invisibility : All ranged attack rolls against this unit count as firing blind and thus receive a -5 skill penalty to their attack roll. This would effectively emulate the fact that the opposing units have a vague idea of where the tank is but can't pin point it's ...

Re: BW 2010 feedback

If you want to get back into Skirmish distance, you'll have to Withdraw and regroup - although Shoving can make this easier, because a squad full of guys you just knocked on their butts can't take any swings at you. This makes sense I also really like it because it adds more dynamic to squad cc. On...

Re: BW 2010 feedback

Yes, a Squad should be able to Shove a Fully Engaged target back into Skirmish range. Two-Handed Weapons are going to be tricky; I want to say that they can't be used in a Full Engagement because there's not enough room to swing them, unless they're attacking from behind a Shield Wall (the Heavy In...

Re: Leopard 2A6M CAN+(Updated 2016/1/1)

Dude it's your model and your game but even with out the crazy default +20 armor and shielding, 4d10 armor is supposed to represent things like nuclear bunkers or entire starships. In my opinion no unit is of any sue on the playing field unless it has a fair chance of getting destroyed and blown to ...

Re: BW 2010 feedback

It's cool for Squads though because you can have some guys blowing their Action on parrying to protect other guys in the squad who can spend their action on something more important. I hadn't even thought of that, cool. What do you think about allowing a fully engaged squad to use push to reestabli...

Re: BW 2010 feedback

Is the rule about being able to parry even when withdrawing new? Anyway I like it because it adds a little bit more skirmish feeling to close combat being able to disengaged more savely if necessary.

Re: BW 2010 feedback

Well I'm assuming you want players to point out more specific part of a creation that harbours the magic so you can tactically take it out right? Now if your SN dice limit is bound to your size as it is now, I would assume that as your effective size goes down you will have to reduce your SN dice ac...

Re: BW 2010 feedback

I think a limit of one per minifig is perfect because it forces your supernatural unit to have all these ridicules items with him the more powerful he is. Which makes sense because in pop culture the more powerful a supernatural being is the more ridiculous they look.

Re: The official LOOT topic

My uncle who heard I still collect Lego went and sent me one of those Mindstorms sets. and I feel really bad because I'd only ever use it for a few parts, The concepts of robotic lego doesn't excite me because I'm not 12 years old, and it's not going to "teach me" anything about programming that I ...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII

Sounds good to me. Any simplification is super welcome as I usually have to play brikwars with people who are not regular wargamers. If I can explain a rule in one or two sentences that it's always welcome in my book.

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII

Maybe the best way to handle it is to say you can create Area of Effect by spending any two SN dice. Roll them both, and keep the lower roll. You can add the lower roll to the size of your effect. If you want to add more size, roll another pair of dice and add the lower result. I like this idea. Ni...
