A good set-mod, turning the LEGO "dropship" into an *actual* dropship. Still, I feel like it could go further. For one thing, if the little vehicle from the set still fits on it, you could convert that into a minitank or mini-APC. If you don't like that idea, you could put a drop pod in the space wh...

I love how this started out as a wargame and ended as a discussion about FTL travel. Anyway, in answer to that little thought experiment, the folding-paper analogy isn't quite perfect. If you were a 2-dimensional being on part of the paper that was touching the fold, assuming that the fold was perfe...

jetpack and parachute
Parachute A Parachute is a utility movement-device represented by a backpack. A minifig jumping off of a tall structure or flyer can open the parachute and coast to the ground without taking fall damage. In addition, it can be used to fly across large gaps or simply to cover ground quickly. A Parach...

I like this. Finally, another Brikwars player who recognizes that flying machines are more than a fancy waste of CP.

2001 vehicle rules: Question
yeah... thanks. I think I'll mix-and-match with the 2001 rules and say "twice as many inches of weapons as your vehicle's size".

2001 vehicle rules: Question
Question: in the 2001 rules, what limits the number of weapons that can be attached to a certain-sized platform?

scenario
Definitely. I actually thought up a scenario that replicated the bloody violence of an electronics store at Christmastime (Four armies going after the last remaining Wii in a giant department store) but this looks just as fun as well as easier to execute.

Mars Mission
Seems to me the Mars Mission sets have a few possibilities. Imagine a battle where you start out with all of your non-infantry units "inactive" (unable to move or fire) and have to collect Energy Crystals to activate them. If a minifig gets hit with a weapon and the Damage roll and Armor value are e...

A/CLL-773 Gunship
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=315279 Since the Vietnam War the U.S. Military has used modified cargo aircraft equipped with side-firing guns to support ground forces. This is a fairly simple modification of set 7734 (the LEGO City Cargo Plane). Any of LEGO's "Large Airplane" sets w...

Astarte Egg Hunt Scenario
*note* this scenario is non-religious and is not intended to support or make fun of any religion. Astarte Egg Hunt Setting: a standard BrikWars battlefield. The battlefield is large and flat enough that vehicles or large Creatures can traverse it, but is dotted with several complex structures which ...

Hello! I am Ben. I don't really like giving out personal information, but I live in the U.S. and, since I'm still a minor, I live with the FBI. That will change in a few years, though. My quest was to try and help my little brother (my main opponent) start a Lego Users Group for Brikwars games among...
