Re: The official LOOT topic

@Insert: yeah I didn't think I'd be lucky enough to actually be the year of the dragon; but it has certainly been thematically dragons for my collection this year.

I also support every magnanimous pun produced in the making of this battle.

Re: The official LOOT topic

Need to play catch with this year's LEGO loot. For starters, the Manly Santa Day gift from yesterday: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51fFTwabioL.jpg As a birthday gift to myself several months ago, I also catalogued and assembled all the pieces necessary to build the dragon on this...

Re: BW 2010 Statcard Generator

Costs for minds have changed. The stat card still calculates based on size of the creation. Now, minds have a static cost no matter the size of the creation.

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII

Slightly related question now. Let's say a squad is full of heavy armored figs. Can they still take advantage of Swap, or does swapping also require the ability to leap?

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII

One of the units I plan to add to chapter 11 is the Bodyguard; maybe one of his perks will be that he can redshirt even if he's wearing body armor (secret service guy in a bulletproof vest, for instance). That is one elegant work around. Another option could be to add a note at the end of the first...

Re: BW 2010 feedback

Small discrepancy in chapter 10. In the manipulator's chart, the following is said about natural attacks: one natural CC attack, equivalent to one Melee Weapon up to Creature Size However, in the description below about find and gross manipulators, the following is said about free natural attacks: C...

Re: Single Brikwarsiest Image?

How about an imposingly armored Lego Rancor consuming a much smaller Lego green dragon?

Re: what where you like in your early forum days?

Though I played BW in high school with my younger brother, I did not become an active forum member until adult years and grad school (2010-2013). I guess I was quite intimidated and timid at first, having little by way of army size or MOC skill. I gladly found a niche in medieval battle reports. My ...

Re: Newbish n00b questions, MkII

This thread seems more appropriate for some questions rather than the 2010 one. 6. I hear it said on a number of occasions that a mounted minifig, for the purposes of weapons he or she might be holding, assumes the effective size of the mount. Prime example, a rider on a 2" horse may hold a lance (t...

Re: BW 2010 feedback

Still catching up on updates. So minds are now a flat cost for any creation. That I like. Let's say I want to have a non-Minifig possess a heroic ego (one of my custom minotaurs for instance). Any CP limitation or additional cost?

I think I'll add a different perspective shot to help with the decision-making.

I think I agree, though, the current choice of weapon probably prefers the chrome helmet.
