Yellow leader could be 'pee' leader so I guess gold is better...wait no it isn't, gold looks just as much like pee.

For the campaing. Maybe have something like this?
Each player starts with 250 credits
Fighter=100 credits
Bomber=125 credits.
John buys 2 fighters for 200 credits while Bob buys 1 bomber for 125 credits. J0hn wins the first battle with non of his ships destroyed so he gets 375 credits while Bob lost his only bomber and lost the battle so he gets 275 credits. Also John gets a free fighter because he won.
Now John has 3 fighters and 425 credits while Bob has 350 credits. Also there's other ships that cost more. Also maybe each campaing battle has a turn limit? Some battle ideas: KILL ALL THE ENEMY SHIPS, have a ship within a certain distance of a plant, player one has to defend a certain ship while player two has to mill said certain ship. Stuff like that

That's straight up not true, it's a primary colour of light.

Do you have any examples of campaigns in other board games? Is there a rule set for brikwars?

Well there is a bunch of campaing battle reports in warhammer 40k. And look at mordheim. So for the campaing your ships get better,stronger,looks cooler,ect.or have it so you get more ships along the way.so at the end players either have giant armys or better ships.

To give you guys an update, I'm going to leave this thread open for ideas for another week and then I'm going to start picking out ideas that I can make into cards. Then onto the fun part, picking the names and graphics of each one!

Putting a potato in an exhaust pipe should be a picture for a sabotage card

Oh awesome, I didn't have that in the list! I've added as a card that stops a ship from moving which I don't have yet. Great idea!

Here's another card I would put in
Name : REINFORCMENTS
Effect. Player that draws the card gets 3 random ships that aren't motherships.

Also another one.
Name: OH DEAR GOD LAZERS
Effect: The player picks a ship that will take a LAZER shot. To the face.
