Good to see this is back, the only things I'd change in my orders are to pull away from the oil spill and thrashing kaiju with more vigor, and have my away team sprint around to avoid the fire (it doesn't look too much like it'll hit my guys from where it is, but I think a sprint should keep us totally out of the way.) I don't think I specified a heroic feat in my standing orders, so here's one now. Captain Scratchbeard challenges the Captain of the Black Inches to a "friendly" (but secretly super competitive) race to first contact with the rainbow enemy, with the prize being one of the choice hookers I brought aboard last turn.
The only unflawed system is Lego System.

L.V.S. BLACK INCHES
Player: lawmaster

Image

The Black Inches proceeds towards the moat outflow at full speed, skirting the edge of the volcanic steam.

Image

SKELETON COXSWAIN: Put your backbone into it! We're about to get run over!

SKELETON ROWER: Grab an oar then, lazybones!

Working together, the two skeletons row like hell and manage to Sprint the boat out of the way of the oncoming Red Miles.

L.V.S. RED MILES
Player: Scratch

Image

Just in time, as the Red Miles overhauls their position.

SCRATCHBEARD: All speed! Hoist those mains!

ZOMBIE CREWMEN: maaaaaaiiins

Scratchbeard gives a Leadership bonus to the crew, granting the Red Miles extra speed as it comes around abaft the Black Inches.

Image

The first mate and a crewman jump into a rowboat to make for the near island. The second mate is standing by while the Red Miles's course brings it closer to the second island.

Image

The zombie away team sprints to get through the foul oil spill before the fire spreads to them, but the sticky corrosive tar slows them down.

ZOMBIE CREWMAN: groooossss

ZOMBIE CREWMAN: grooosssssss

The tar burns the zombies, sticking to their legs and doing minor damage to three of them.

They are so grossed out they don't stop to eat the dead Bitches' brains or even bite them to turn them into Zombie Bitches.

Image

SCRATCHBEARD: Looks like I've got my cannons shoved right up your poop deck, Ratskull! You're lucky we're on the same team!

Image

CAPTAIN RADISKULL: Calciumkin are not interested in your meat-based innuendos!

SCRATCHBEARD: That's not what I --- dang it!

Image

SCRATCHBEARD: Blast you, Radiskull! I challenge you to a race! The first one to land an attack on a Rainbowist scum wins this fine harlot!

ORC HARLOT: Tee hee

CAPTAIN RADISKULL: You're on, you fool! I'm already practically on their doorstep!
  • FEAT SUCCESSFUL
Radiskull's new objective is to be the first to hit a rainbowist. He'll probably be in range to start firing shots next turn.

I just noticed the black circle on the second island in one of the photos. Please note that that's just where I set the lens cap down while I was shooting photos. It's not a mysterious hole leading to pirate treasure.

... or is it

At first I was wondering what the islands were for, then I did see the black hole, which I knew was a game feature that was very important... or was it?

It's very important because if I don't take it off the camera then all the photos come out too dark.

He did seem to be absent lately, I checked his member data.
He hasn't posted since June 5.

Maybe he got electrocuted by a D Cell battery.

Not the skype. One of the few that managed to avoid my lord Overwatch's grasp and love. He pops into the Discord and just plays Hearthstone or DOTA.

Zupps is logged onto Discord almost all the time, but I've never seen him actually chatting. :mystery:
