Space police is a good idea, and I may switch to them later. But here is what I did with what I had on hand.
I used a placeholder head for Red Skull.

Mechanic, Officers, Commandos with some serious hardware, Commandos, Elite Commandos.

I also took two flat transparant blue 1x1 bricks and made a cosmic cube to be fought over. All I need now is a battlefield and someone to play with.
The Explorians clearly aren't the best choice, but until I order some replacements they will suffice. And I'm pretty happy about how the Atlantis guys turned out, bringing some of that classic green look to Hydra (HAIL HYDRA!).

Absolutely wonderful. I agree, those super commandos are great, and the regular troops look nice as well. Which head are you using right now? the pumpkin?

The head I'm using is from a droid that came with Jabba's Palace. It's pretty much plain red with a few lines on it.

For Red Skull, see if you can get your hands on a copy of the Monster 4 Lego game. One of those demon heads would make a nice substitution that requires no paint.

That's the face I got. The picture is in the opening post. It's a good fit for the Red Skull.

I changed two of my riflemen in Cap's army to make cooler guys with actual names.

First is Jack Churchill, probably the most bad-ass guy in WW2.

Then we've got James "Bucky" Barnes, Cap's best friend.

Opening post updated to reflect these changes.

First off, Jack Churchill... :666: :boss: :<3:. Second: While I imagine we won't be seeing a purist red skull from TLC, I just can't get past the current red skull's derpy expression :? .

Jack Churchill needs to be a Hero unit, except even better. Perhaps a Legend?

Seriously though, he's amazing.

Ideally, all of the commandos with Cap would be heroes. With guys like Fury, Dugan, Bucky, and Churchill in your army, it would take a guy like Cap to lead them. Otherwise, they would each be leading their own armies.

Well, get to it! I would love to see Churchill lead an army of WW2 berserkers!

This is great! But I am spotting just one historical inaccuracy. The colour green did not exist until 1953.
