The Dark Armies from Deadnocide

Post by transformerj » Sun Jan 19, 2014 8:37 pm

This is Commander Dread speaking.
I have the fortunate duty of first contact with the unfortunate souls on the other side.
Our great Leader over heard my joy and cut my forces in half.
Left with the lesser half of my forces this meeting will be challenging at best, if it turns fun!!!!

I like the tone of this army, it feels a lot like the Immortals. The ships are even big enough to warrant such a comparison.

If you join the old BrikWiki, you can upload your ships' LXF files so they can participate in LDD microspace forum battles.

Why thank you for such a compliment.
But, i think i will hold off on posting LXF files until the forces of Drath have found a way to cross into this realm.
(until i make a Ship worthy of the dreadnought class)
Till then it's all comm traffic......so to speak.

You poor unfortunate souls.
My latest winnings from the arena have been offered to Transformerj for the use of the greater half of my forces.
He accepted the offer and even granted a several new ships to be at my disposal.

Defender Destroyer
unique all to it's self the Defender class Destroyers use a techno-organic hybrid hull.
Strong and able to absorb all forms of active detection and the stealth running engines are nearly undetectable to passive forms.
Considered one of the most fearsome vessels to ever be built.
Just a handful are needed to combat dreadnought and juggernaut class ships.
Their primary use is the defense of Com-Sat ships.

Kalvinator, this is clearly microspace. Granted, it should have gone in the LDD forum, but I'm not too inclined to come down hard on the newbies.

Colette, the pictures used to appear small, now they've suddenly grown. That's what Kalvinator was complaining about.

Interesting force btw.
This sig is too fucking large: show anyway

Can one move a Topic from one forum to another or do they just have to redo-it in the other forum?

It's an impressive force but, yes, the pictures are small and it's difficult to fully appreciate the quality of the builds.

I'm coming to the conclusion that the dreadnought being built for the Dark Armies of Deadnocide in LDD may be toooooo big.
It has already crashed once and I'm roughly half finished!

(8000 bricks so far)

Update
LDD full zoom out square scale
(41x11x5) ish
at current size

More ships under the Command of Dread
(Bartered, Stole and Killed for)
Image
Cargo Ship
Image
Support Carrier
28 Spec-Ops Gunboats 8 Cargo Ships on board
Used for resupply missions
Image
Support Battleship
Used in support of planetary assaults or fleet ambushes.
It's hidden Missile tubes are capable of holding 19 missiles each.
Primarily outfitted with sub-surface Detonation missiles but, can hold the shaped Detonation missiles like the Carrier and Battleship
(The Reason More Than Meets The Eye is the slogan for Deadnocide Academy)
Image
Communications Ship
12 Spec-Ops Gunboats on board
It's electronic warfare might, is so powerful it can even disrupt the power on our own dreadnought.
Love to see what it will do to your meager ships.
Image
Super Weapon
Designed to disable entire fleets.
It creates an energy sphere, that when reaches critical levels ....explodes.
The eight arms redirect the rear of this blast wave forward.
Any ship caught in the path gets a double whammy.
Weaker ships have been seen turning into liquid metal, while stronger ships glow like a new star.
only ships of equal or greater power systems have survived relatively unscathed.
For most ship if the first doesn't kill you the second will.
