For Great Justice, Part One: Tower of Justice

That seems like it'd work. And then once the battle is over, the top page could get a quick summary paragraph or two and become the standard wiki article about the battle.
The only drawback is that there doesn't seem to be a quick way to upload a bunch of photos at once, or any naming convention for battle photos.

Re: For Great Justice, Part One: Tower of Justice
Well, it isn't too much of a difficulty to upload the photos for a turn at a time. This battle netted about 30 photos a turn, which is a little on the robust side. But it's worth it to avoid bandwidth and storage problems. ToJ alone has taken up about a third of my allotted photobucket space and scraped or exceeded bandwidth almost every single turn. A few extra minutes on the upload doesn't bother me too much given the tradeoff.
As for naming convention, a simple tag should take care of search parameters, right? So maybe just preface each image with Battle Photo?
i.e. battlephotoToJGreenTurn1a.png
I tend toward long file names for organizational purposes (I've heard this is a bad habit but it helps me keep things straight) so there shouldn't be too much confusion.

After you've filled a photobucket account, create one using a different email.

I use both. My wife uses dropbox. At this point, it's a free-for-all. I use whatever is most convenient at the time. Or whatever pops into my head first.
For these purposes, though, since we want records up there anyway, the wiki seems like a solid solution. I'll probably throw something up soonish, early novemberish. We already have a battle sidebar template, so that's good.

Final Scores have been updated. Nominations really brought the scores super close together.

I love the fact that despite coming second pretty much all the way across the board, I still have the most custom nominations and an award . . .

Right? You were definitely one of the most consistently scored. I think it was one or two more points and you would have had 1st place. This is why I chose your character as the lead in PS8.

I realized that I haven't done any nominations yet.
To Shadow because of what seemed like a pretty good rivalry this game. You are Green's Rival.
To Scratch because he played really well and annoyed the shit out of me at the end. You are Green's Annoyance.
To Transformerj because you killed Master sphincter. You are the Green Hunter.

Re: For Great Justice, Part One: Tower of Justice
Haha. The funniest thing about our rivalry is the fact that it only happened because of the fact we both took the same route.
If you had gone the other way, our paths would never have crossed.
At the very beginning I wanted to make brikguys life hell, simply because he was being an irritating little shit at the time, and I wanted to inflict him for his crimes in the most suitable way possible.
By kicking his ass at brikwars and insulting home about it at every opportunity.
Alas. I was never to be. Somehow he managed to mature, if only slightly. Now we are allies in PS8 and I'm working out ways to combine powers and kanons for maximum awesome for everyone, before we no doubt become enemies again in the final chapter.
Because there can only be one.

I went ahead and added in your Noms, Zup, for shits and giggles. Final Rankings remain the same but thank you anyway for making them.Zupponn wrote:I realized that I haven't done any nominations yet.
I've got both PS8 and Part 2: JUS in the works now. I just need to get the presentation written for JUS, as well as work out a few scenery builds. I think I'm going to go ahead with PS8 as an RPG, so I just need to finish my ruleset and get the character creation post up. Nothing really spoileriffic to report. The Shadowscythe wrote:So y'know whatever you have up your sleeve. . . spoileriffic fun ahoy?
I've had 10 or 11 players express moderate to keen interest in playing in the next Parts of For Great Justice. So, I'm trying to open up as many slots as I can manage. I don't rightfully know how many people have an interest in PS8 but I'm probably going to open up 10-12 slots. Should be more than enough. All the characters you see in the opener will be playable, though Medikbro and Blue Pistoleer are options for Snake Yellow and Mark Three to take as followers first. I think I'll allow anyone to create their own character but I do hope that some of the main three return to their roles. If any of the characters shown aren't taken, they'll follow the party as NPCs with a tendency to Redshirt.
It was definitely a lot of fun to watch the various strategies emerge and evolve. I found myself laughing at the coming chaos more than once. Lot of close calls and crisscrossing tactics. The Shadowscythe wrote:Haha. The funniest thing about our rivalry is the fact that it only happened because of the fact we both took the same route.
