Welcome to the BrikWars Forum! If this is your first time here, let me congratulate you on having made a terrible decision that you will no doubt regret for several minutes or even hours before you finally log out in horror, unplug the internet, and set your computer on fire.

There's lots to see and do here, and it's not always clear where you should start. And just as fast as good starting places appear, one of our completely trustworthy and carefully-vetted mods ends up getting drunk and deleting it by accident. That being said, here are some things to check out first.

• THE BRIKWARS RULEBOOK:
  This is why we're all here, in theory.
• THE BRIKWARS WIKI:
  The Wiki serves as the repository for all the constantly changing nonsense "facts" that make up the BrikWars Kanon. You can start by reading about the Forums, Forum Terminology, and the BrikWars Community. You will not be quizzed on these.
• THE FORUM RULES:
  There are a lot of forum rules. Most of them don't make any sense, but you'll be held to them regardless. They're divided across several unrelated locations for your added inconvenience.
  
  • The Terms of Use govern your everyday site participation.
    The administrative procedures are described in the BrikWars Forum Rules.
    There's an intermittently updated List of Automatic Ban Offenses, which vary by admin.
    Our rough code of interpersonal conduct is Everyone's the Boss of Their Own Toys.

If you manage to survive the reference and administrative trivia, you may be wondering what to do on the forums specifically. Lucky for me, the subforums are listed with full descriptions on the main page (https://brikwars.com/forums/), so I won't describe them in detail here. In any case, they change frequently; subforums get split, recycled, and deleted fairly regularly, and posts are occasionally deleted by the tens of thousands at a time.

To get started, consider introducing yourself in the Introduce Yourself! thread.

If you'd just like to chat with other BrikWars players, the General Discussion subforum is a good place to do it, but most of the day-to-day conversations have moved to the BrikWars Mibbit chatroom the BrikWars Skype the BrikWars Discord server.

If you'd like to try playing in someone else's battle, check the Forum Battles subforum and see if there are any signups open.

If you'd like to post photos of your own battles or construction-brick creations, there's a helpful thread about How To Post Pictures.


That's it! Good luck. Don't worry too much if your forum experience seems to consist entirely of getting trolled constantly; that's everyone's forum experience. Just try and act surprised like it's not exactly what you were expecting.
