I Built an App to Keep Track of the Whole Battle

Post by Vlad » Sun Jul 04, 2021 8:16 am

One year ago, I came up with an idea of an app that would calculate all tabletop battle interactions. I wanted to get rid of rolling the dice, making games more dynamic and exciting.

Here's what the app intended to do:
  • To create virtual copies of minifigures and items with attributes.
  • To change weapons and automatically update character's damage and attributes.
  • To attack and show the damage done, getting into account equipped weapon, critical strike chance, target's armor, and a bunch of other stuff.
  • To manually kill or resurrect any character. In case a character fell to an acid lake. Or it's an undead that raised again.
  • To disable characters so they will be skipping turns.
And other cool features.

I'm a designer and have never built apps before. So I learned to code to bring this idea to life. And a few days ago, I finally got the app done, and now it's in the beta stage.

Here're a few screenshots: https://www.notion.so/Mini-Lords-Screen ... 03950a1e52

I'd be happy if you try my free app and share feedback.
You can install the beta here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/ifxJ98oY

And one more thing. It's for iPhones for now. But if there would be interest in the app, I'll make it for Android as well.

Neat! But doesn't seem to be based on Brikwars rules?
I make apocalypses and apocalypse accessories.
