The Legend Goes Lego in January 2008

Yes, I can also say 'Sounds like an old Alternate History WW2 game called Uber Soldier.' Of course, that game had you playing as a revived-from-the-dead Lieutenant in the SS. Angered at being cheated out of an after life, you go on a living Piltogg killing spree. I don't think the fan base for that game ever really developed.....IVhorseman wrote:can anyone say goddard's law?Skinnydude wrote:True, but with a little modification, they can become perfect(Minus Swastika) SA or SS uniforms, which is exactly what I'll be using them for....Rayhawk wrote: Lego can't make Piltogg minifigs, Piltogg toys are illegal in too many big European markets. I think if you look carefully on the packaging and promotional materials they're just anonymous "guards." Just "guards," they don't even get to be soldiers! (Take that, Piltogg!)
Can anyone say undead Piltogg super-soldier Hero units?

Ha ha, I can't imagine why not. But I would have pointed to the later chapters of Wolfenstein first, as the defining classic in the Piltogg-superzombie-killing genre.DarkWolf wrote:Yes, I can also say 'Sounds like an old Alternate History WW2 game called Uber Soldier.' Plastik Armory: a bunch of weapons and abilities compatible with the 2010 rules.

I love that temple escape set! Too bad it doesn't come out until February.

It doesn't seem like the website will EVER go live.

Actually... My local Toys-R-Us had a few boxes of that in stock and on the shelf before Manly Santa Day. (Didn't get one, alas; I'll definitely be saving up for it now, though.)Rayhawk wrote:Not to be dangerously on-topic, but check out the article in Gizmodo:

Here is a short list of observations I am able to make at 4:11 AM:
1.)I spy with my little eye something that is a Rocket Propelled Grenade!
2.)I guess it's acceptable to fight communism, but Nazis are strictly off limits.
3.)You may hate peach skin, but if you hate the dark tanned stuff you're being racist.
4.)Some manner of twistable knob on the left side of the temple
5.)Gas cans made with revolvers. Never woulda thunk it.
6.)I would not be shocked if the red hound faces on the temple spat something
7.)Finally a dark green croc.
8.)Is that new hair on the cutlass-wielding minifig or the leather helmet?

Uggg , Im upset their using the wild west lego rifles .
I was hoping that would give in and give them the SMGs that came in some of the bigger batmat sets .
Speaking of wild west , would it kill them to make an acceptable lego combat helmit?
They have the exact same hats as the Union and Confederate Minifigs .

The Officer gets a Batman pistol. And as far as lego combat helm go, to the brikwar commander all helmets are acceptable combat helmets. If you're really dying for a helmet a minifig could eat soup out of, I think megabloks had some a while back. Two more things that I noticed:
9: Those creatures have six legs and therefore are more than likely not spiders.
10: One of the figures has long black hair. This would be excellent for the community-made metal army.
