Agreed. It's why i use them in my infantry weapons. They look the best of any other blasters that have been made.Dr. X wrote:I so agree. I HATE the new Star Wars blasters, the megaphone is pure classic GOLD. MEGAPHONE FTW!!!!IVhorseman wrote:hey! don't diss the classics! those blasters are gold man, gold!Jemulov wrote:I like how they are starting to make guns and not using reversed loudspeakers as blaster rifles.

Imho lego in nowadays is juniorized as hell, although the set's get a bit more inventive, and detailed. And almost every set has to has some sort of "gimmick" (sometimes jerky projectile action; I hate it, even in Bionicle). Everything is in bright colours. I think tlc could make some new minifigure heads, instead of mass-using the older town heads (e.g. in castle soldier's faces).
Because of the new generation, sets include more action feature, and faster build, whereas in the old times, it was more detail and building oriented (it even had the slogan: what will you build today?)
About bionicle: I was once fan of it, and although most parts are nice, the limb pieces are over-specialised... but still too technicky to be used as monster limbs (viking line tried it, but t'was kinda odd).
That's for all right now, I've just wrote out all of my thoughts that were swirling in my head.
End of line.

I bought myself a Troll Warship today, and if you ask me, it's one of the most well-designed sets I've ever put together. I only remember one other set that I thought was this clever with design elements (I was younger during the older sets, so didn't appreciate how awesome my pirate ship was), and that was an Octan truck.

Plastik Armory: a bunch of weapons and abilities compatible with the 2010 rules.
