The balance between abstraction, detail, and playability is something Will grapples with on each design. Ultimately, while there's been a slight increase in the detail of BrickArms accessories over the years as Will's design details have deepened and he's found toolers that can perfectly capture those designs, Will still loves the minifig accessory aesthetic, and over-detailing is something he specifically tries to avoid.

isn't something I can really answer, although I can say the M16A1 Flamethrower isn't part of this release as it didn't receive as much strongly positive feedback from the community as compared to the other M16 variants. Still, there's always a chance that design will see mass production or perhaps be available in some other way.
